Yes Booster Gold, DC comics superhero and member of the Justice League. has was killed during the landmark DC event "52" but recently resurfaced alive and well. He was a pro American Football player but was banned for betting on his own games and had to get a job as a museum security guard it was there that he met Skeets his robot sidekick using technology he stole from the museum including a Legion of Super-Heroes flight ring and Brainiac 5's force-field belt. He uses Rip Hunter's time machine to travel back in time to the modern day and became a super hero.
