Sonic has just been confirmed to be in super smash bros brawl.

He's the second third party character to appear in brawl and one of the most highly anticipated. Now we can finally see fights between mario and sonic in action and not just in olympics

You've predicted my reaction, because at 6:55am this morning, as I woke up an checked the Brawl update, I had a SERIOUS "Are you serious?" moment. I questioned reality itself. You also beat me to the news, but oh well. We'll have to prepare for the mayhem now.

That video is from brawl and there's another one from Nintendo's autumn conference which is just over a minute long showing everything else thats been announced recently and it looks bloody awesome. You can just find it on the site if you want...

It was so obvious he was gonna be in Brawl. Tons of people wanted him to be. Plus he's had quite a few Nintendo games. In fact, Nintendo designed his entire character a while ago, they were just waiting for Sega to (hopefully) allow them to puthim in their game.

to be honest, I couldn't really care less considering Europe was going to be getting it after christmas, hopefully a worldwide release will be more acheivable

As far as news I can find says, all I have is that the JAPAN date has been pushed back to 24th January

Well, for now we're not completely sure. The release date is to be determined/decided. TBD. So, we might get a week delay or even a month. Or even more than that. As for Sonic, it looks like he's been worked on for quite a while. Impressive. <- That they managed to prevent leaked information, I mean. [b]D:[/b]
