It's called Microsoft Paint for a reason. Paint is a bundle-in with every Windows OS system, so I doubt Microsoft would release it for Mac funtionality.

I personally prefer JPEGs, but that's just me. GIFs suck, and PNGs are more complex. JPEGs are the best, I think.
