I think the current moderating team is great and makes the community a good place - of course I may be biased because I am one, but if you have a problem with any of the moderating team let us (staff) or even Dustin know.

(I like to think...) we are chosen to be moderators because we are the best people for the job, not because we are the most popular, most friendly or whatever.

As for elections deciding who is the best moderator, I think that is also not a good idea as friends will nominate friends, whereas Dustin will look at all possible angles and try and decide who is the best candidate.

I think the main reason I got moderateded was at the time I was pretty much the only person around, plus already being a news submitter probabbly helped.
