OK, there seems to be much confusion on this in some areas, as to the meaning of anonymous: Anonymous is not an original name. If someone prefers not to be named, they are anonymous. It is a common adjective.

I dont think the hacker known as anonymous is the same anonymous that is trying to destroy the church of scientology. I'm sure that Anonymous is a popular name amongst those who dont want to be known about.

It's a name. Just a name. A name doesn't prove anything.
