This is all quoted from my blog, but id say the same stuff here anyway. The screenshot's after the jump

Following is the first screenshot for Zelda 2d, it does not include the moblin and several parts will have more work done on them and be furthur polished up before the final game, but i hope this starts to show you what the game will look like.

------

The screenshot does not include the moblin yet, as i still need to work on importing it and getting it to work with link. It does however include most of the effects ive been working on, with stars, clouds and rain clearly visable.

I still need to add the lighning effects to the game before most of the environment is complete.

Screenshots including the moblin, attacks and other small things will follow in the next few days, hopefully having a good preview up on newgrounds alphas by the weekend

Check my blog (link in sig) for small updates and i will post here again once the preview is complete.

Awsome!
Me and this guy are making a game right now, which I cannot reveal any real details about right now, but when we have the engine up and running, I will post it on the front page, so you can compare it to Twilight Princess. :D

Cool... i am a software developer and last year i made a zelda game called "Legend of Zelda: the 8-bit Odyssey" I wrote it in Visual Basic and it is an RPG (command style combat) game that has mario, megaman, simon belmont from castlevania, and several other old nintendo stars in it.... see this screen shot....
