It was hard for me in the beggining, but now it's easy.

First, shoot all tekites, yeah... or almost all of them, there's always one or two too far to hit them (near the chest).

Once you've done that, don't push the switch, but walk slowly and with your time all the way to the chest to know the path. Then go back and press the switch and go for it!

I think it's easier to know the path if you're not running agaisnt a ticking clock, in that way you can start measuring the time you've got with how long you have to run.

Center yourself before you press the switch so that you can run straight up the steps. Then just turn a little bit each time to avoid having Link jump off.

I got it first try, just make sure you run as fast as you can. I s'pose I was lucky because I didn't get hit by the Keese or whatever monsters are in there. I just stepped on the button and ran like there was no tomorrow. And I think I the fire started before I opened the chest, but in frustration I still pressed the A button, and it opened anyway. O.o
