Lucario was confirmed before most of the other hidden characters due to the sticker-related leak, although of course now you can find out the whole roster if you want.

Compared to mewtwo, Lucario is superior for these reasons.

Faster,Stronger(especially when his damage gets over 75%),cooler, my favorite pokemon, he can control aura, he just kicks butt, he's in Brawl and mewtwo isn't, PLUS!!! Blue is better than Purple

the only attack that's similar to mewtwos is the aura sphere, all the other attacks are completely different...

I haven't watched Pokemon for a long time; I had no idea that Lucario was a Pokemon.
Lucario is probably one character I'll play as a lot-His attacks are cool
