it was awesome.

i listened to a CD adaption too.

my fave has to be the subtle knife though.

[spoiler]but i just hate the ending when Stanislaus Grumman sees his son; it's just epic.

oh sorry about not saying anything... His Dark Materials was a great series. Some people praise it higher than harry potter though. It was amazing, but harry potter is now legendary beyond human comprehension. i was so sad when [spoiler]lupin and tonks died... [/spoiler] but yes, the subtle knife might be my favorite (i'm really bad a picking favorites)


and might i suggest two books? the first is probably in the top five favorite books ever, and it's "The 13 and a Half Lives of Captain Bluebear" by Walter Moer. amazing, pretty long though. Garo might enjoy it greatly. the next is another top five, "The History of Love" by Nicole Krauss. this book is more liquified thor.
