Nintendo to release white GameCube controller for Wii

I don't know why, but I get the strange feeling that this was just lying on the Nintendo site for ages and someone just dug it up, but this was in fact before the wii was around particularly. It seems strange to re-release a controller with the exact same design if the original console is no longer being produced...
