I had it with my idiot cousin! He plays ALWAYS play 18+ games and nope no yelling. Why? He is FULL VIET NAMESE and AND VIETNAMESE don't have agr rules. His parents don't even care. And what about me a touch a disk and my parents who act 30 % american and 70 % vietnamese yell at me. He hogs the games, make up annoying rules, and limit stuff to me . I mean WTF is with him. He owns a jewlery shop so like now he only needs a NDS/ NDSL and a Xbox360 to COMPLETE his console collection. I'm been trying to buy a Wii but no, my parents says "We don't have enough money. We need the money for our airplane tickests" ect... GOD DARN IT

When I was a kid, games didn't have age warnings. (the games we had didn't look all that real) That all changed when a little game called Mortal Kombat was released. I still remember the big media blow-up it caused with it's "Fatalities" and (at the time) realistic blood. Bending to pressure from parents groups the video game companies agreed to the age system and we've been using it ever since. But in my opinion the raiting system has one fundamental flaw in it's unflinchable logic, mental maturaty. my Nephew is 13, but he's as mature as most guys I know my own age (24). Being young physically doesn't mean your young mentally. If you feel you can handle the Mature themes of an 18+ game, talk to the 'rents and tell them so.

That's the feeling you get when you turn 18, one day you don't have permission to bet or drink alcohol (in Mexico the age is 18) and the next day you can! in one day you're not going to be more mature than the day before...

I hate the age thing too. Many times when I was 11 or 12 I'd find a crazy-cool website, but it says "You must be 13 or older"... luckly, I don't have that problem anymore. (Though there was one site that was 14+.... -_-)

When I turned 18, I bought my first lottery ticket and won $300 us. And when I turned 21, I drank. Not got drunk I had a beer...AT A STRIP CLUB!!!! I drink a little at holidays and family outings but thats it.

Age rules stink, you know time splitters 2 ? When I was like 7-9 or something, my doctor said those types of games are too mature, and then he took ALL the t-rated games for until I was 10.
