Posted 21 Oct 2008 No. It's dog. You btich. If your a girl. Don't ban me for being correct. It's just the proper word for it. And I can't be bothered with the Arcade. The Casino is much better for money. Just playing the poker game. It's easy. It starts off hard, but as I get more money I make bigger bets and get bigger payouts. I have only lost twice by sheer bad luck.

Posted 21 Oct 2008 Well that game is a game of chance. Play it. You select the ones you want to keep, out of five, then the ones you don't select flip over to reveal different cards, but that's it. You might manage to get money, you might not, but then you shuffle the deck and continue. Try it. It's not a game of skill, it's a game of chance. It's a good way to make money. Posted 28 Oct 2008 Hacker, a word to be defined by so many, but understood by few. Hacking, a passion many love, a tool many misuse. Think what you may and you will, but never assume, in our assumptions we are at fault. So to this i put a end, most will never understand this past time or "crime" and i don't expect you to. So stay in your world and we stay in ours.
Posted 28 Oct 2008 Right. ... I think you missed the point here. People use the word hacker for hacking into things. Quit living in the past. Times change. Words aren't used as they used to be. The rhyme 'Humpty Dumpty' was originally about a powerful cannon that fell and broke. Do you get me?
Posted 28 Oct 2008 (edited) The rhyme 'Humpty Dumpty' was originally about a powerful cannon that fell and broke. Do you get me? 'Humpty Dumpty' was originally a cannon that fell!?!! Shame, they should have nailed it into the wall. Edited 28 Oct 2008 by Frost Giant (see edit history)
Posted 28 Oct 2008 (edited) No, hacking is gaining unauthorised access into a databank and using it malicious purposes(to the 'victim) is that person doing that? Is the said person doing that to edit the game code so that he's the winner? No he isn't. Hacker is an overused term by people who feel cheated on a game when the accused person is better than them. Tough losers mainly. What the OP described is cracking. Using programs to do something for you(editing the game code so you aim better) or using macroes(using the specified pattern in order to do something, like on RS cutting wood repeatedly when the person wasn't there.) Posted 28 Oct 2008 Hacking == generally messing around on computers. / White/Grey hats. Cracking == breaking laws. / Grey/Black hats.
Posted 28 Oct 2008 (edited) Actually, cracking isn't breaking laws, it's the distrubution of said cracked software. you yourself have the right to do whatever you wish with the game(as you've bought the physical object and installed it onto your own HDD) on the PC/Mac/Linux but it's only illegal once you distrubute it to others so therefore, cracking = legal I'm allowed to download a no-cd crack of a game(so that it doesn't take up my only disk slot) but i'm not allowed to pass that onto others who didn't pay for the game. I can give it to a person who has bought the game. Edited 28 Oct 2008 by DungeonMaster (see edit history)
