Scottish isn't an entirely different language; it's just one of the many dialects of the English language. Of course, Scotland does have its own regional Celtic-based language. Gaelic, I believe. Have you played Metal Gear Solid? Have you heard the song that is sung at the beginning? Here's a fun fact for you, it's Gaelic. I didn't notice until recently that it wasn't Japanese.
