Well, I figure I'll ask a simple question

What's your favorite Zelda weapon/item and why?

Mine would be (if you can't tell from the name) was always the bow and arrow, It's just always appealed to me in both real life and video games, and zelda does an awesome job of using it, espeically with the various different types of arrow types.

also being able to snipe in twilight princess was the awesome of awesome.

... Weapon... Let's see... Either the Guilded sword because it's very powrerful, or dins fire because it's powerful, but not as powerful as the sword.

I lean heavily towards bow use. Of course, the boomerang is also a staple that I love to use. (The whole concept of stunning something by smacking it in the face was always appealing. Which is why the Gale Boomerang kind of made me lose the feel for it.)

I'd have to say the bow, since it's so amazingly useful, (I love picking off enemies, and theoretically, I'm a good marksman) and the masks collectively in Majora's Mask.

Din's fire burns sh*t. No one stands in your way when you use it. No one. Except maybe Ganon.

And who can forget the FD mask?

Din's Fire is cool, but it's not really skillful or fun to use, in my personal opinion.

I mean, everything just falls over.

What's the fun in that? =(

Use fire arrows.

They burn stuff too.

I only really used Din's Fire when it was most appropriate. ie - when running low on arrows and magic in the midst of a large number of enemies.

I don't really like using arrows as much in the 2D Zeldas. That's where the boomerang becomes my exclusively set weapon.

Yes same here I hate the bow in 2d games, then again I don't like alot of 2d games anyway but bommerang in 2d games is also my set weapon.

Yes, but can fire arrows encircle your body in a PROTECTIVE BARRIER of fire?

Didn't think so.

Yeah, but can that barrier PIERCE THE SKULL OF YOUR ENEMY AND INCINERATE THE INSIDE OF THEIR SKULL AND BRAIN WHILE SIMULTANEOUSLY PIERCING SAID PARTS WITH A POWERFULLY BURNING METAL POINT AND WOODEN SHAFT?

Didn't think so.

My most fravoritest weapon/item of all time HAS to be the Biggoron's sword. It;s the equivelent of he Fierce Deity sword in MM, and it's longer. I also like how link uses two hands |D

The bestest weapon/item has to be the Bow. Long Range Destruction HECK YES.

Yes, I did like the Biggoron Sword. And the ball and chain. Though, some of Ganondorf's swords were pretty awesome.

Hooray for unnecessarily huge weapons!
