I don't know if you guys know this yet but...

I ever... (long ago) found a "tick/glitch" on the DS.

Sorry for placing it so late if this trick wasn't discovered yet rolleyes.gif

The trick is:

I don't have to touch the Health and Safety anymore. smile.gif

It just shows the DS logo animation and directly continues to the game/flashcard.

Hey all,

---For some or a another reason I couldn't post this in the FAQ's part forum... So a Mod move this topic please wink.gif ---

I don't know if you guys know this yet but...

I ever... (long ago) found a "tick/glitch" on the DS.

Sorry for placing it so late if this trick wasn't discovered yet

The trick is:

I don't have to touch the Health and Safety anymore. :)

It just shows the DS logo animation and directly continues to the game/flashcard.

Note: that you have to turn Auto-Mode on first ;)

Else -you just have to Adjust the system settings- and than turn it on and redo the trick...

Delete Health and Safety touch [TUT]

This is a tutorial how to do a trick I found. :)

My movie maker sucks so... maybe a another time...

Long the way use this description:

1. Turn on your DS Lite/Path.

2. Go to system settings.

3. Go to Calibrate the Touch screen. (And play some around)(The longer the better result) (I didn't come in the second test

for some reason at the movie... but there you can play either) (Not Confirm just turn off)

4. Put battery out for like 10/5/3 seconds.

5. Put in the battery again.

6. Turn on and see if worked... If not try again. :)

7. Have some fun, without "Flash me" witch is anyway awesome! But dangerous...

Note: that you have to turn Auto-Mode on first ;)

Else -you just have to Adjust the system settings- and than turn it on and redo the trick...

Thanks!

Confirmed great work! :D

Tested:

On DS Lite (should work on path too)

(DSi Unknown)

And changed back and to the "tricked" mode a couple of times...

It is safe!

Needed:

A screw driver that fits on DS battery cover screw.

And the DS Lite it self.

I pleased to get credit. :) (I'm Adr990)

Any questions?

Just ask here in comments!

It is very importnant, once. We don't need it every tme, and on every manual, and on every box. I think it's cool. Thanls

Thanks but no thanks. I never Mod my game systems. The only "Mod" I did was to my Wii, buying a Wiiskin. When you modify a system illegally you void the warranty and can never update the software again.

true, but mne is old, first release of the lite, If it gets screwed up, I'll go buy a new one. I can justify it for an old one, though I agree, I wouldn't on a new one.

How does this help the DS's condition anyways, plus, who else but a lazy person who's to lazy to click the touch screen would need this info?

... Well, I guess it has some uses...

What's the point. It's a cool little thing you found, but it's pretty pointless.

b..bu..but the helath and safety screen reminds you about vitally important stuff!

I ignored it and made my left hand go completely numb after holding the DS funny for a while, sure it was awesome and I could do things to my hand without being able to feel anything, but that's besides the point!

Please use full words not "ill" and "ur" I know what they mean, but it's... strange is the only word I can think of to describe it right now...

It doesn't void your warranty and easy to restore back to normal...

You realize that you can't update the DS right?

This doesnt involve modding... you just follow the directions and it tricks the DS into not showing the screen...

It's useful to get rid of that annoying screen. Thanks adr :D Another awesome post.
