    Anyhow, I went to connect the PS3 to the HD Ready TV, to change the resolution on Ubuntu and after wards put it back on my TV again.

    Anyhow Im really hoping for more hack stuff.

    I got Ubuntu 9.04 installed on my PS3 anyway, yet to do this hack on it:

    To get full speed hoax, and has like Gamecube/Wii/N64/SNES/NES/GBA etc. Emulators on my PS3 at full speedz. :D

    I already have a possibility to run a PS2 USB Loader, but I need the Magic Swamp disc, so I hope to get it done on Ubuntu with a External HDD for the ROMs/ISOs.

    I am, partly a reason I got the PS3 is because it is near being fully hacked.

    Hehe, I just changed my color from blue to orange yes, it fitted better with Crash Bandicoot and Orange is also the color of The Netherlands, though I will change it time by time I guess.

    Heavy Rain is p. good, using the Demo for my opinion. But I first wanna get ME, LBP and Uncharted 2. That are the games above HR for me now.

    Also, Vio, your not stuck with 40GB. I upgraded my friends 40GB this vaction to 320GB.

    I also did mine with 320GB, just Backup, replace HDD, and replace Backup.

    Be sure you know your PSN account password and mail in before.

    I forgot to say I also got Fl0W for PS3, it was free for 24 hours in the USA store. :D

    Oh also, did I tell you guys I own a PS3 now? (Besides a Wii.)

    It's the 60GB edition, got it as a second hand for only 270 Euro's! (This PS3 edition costs 600 Euro's by default.)

    I got Grand Turismo 5 Prolouge and Crash Nitro Kart(PS2) with it. And two PS3 controllers, Sixaxis only and a Dualchock3 + Sixaxis. With the HDMI cable I also got with it I can even play with more experience on our HD Ready TV! It is a awesome deal.

    Yes, its working great. I'm all stunning about it.

    I wanna get Mirrors Edge for it, and LBP. But no store by local has them anymore (One shop had LBP for 65 Eur while it costs 20Eur now..)

    I'm gonna order it via a Online Dutch shop now I guess. Hopefully get them on monday or tuesday.

    My inactivity lately was mostly because of Computer problems.

    I got it somehow fixed, but I better get a whole new Computer. I hope for getting a Laptop though.. But maybe a Desktop PC is still better because of easier Upgrade abilities.

    It's getting hacked for real now, and Homebrew on a PS3 = awesome.

    Besides that I probably can run backups on it any time soon. It will be worth buying it.

    As games for PS3 are to expensive.

    My friend showed me cool features.

    I'm manage to get a PS3 60GB to have a old model, and be able to play PS2 on the PS3 (As I skipped PS2). And it will be good for Homebrew/hacks.

    Found one close to me now, only time will tell if I get it or not. (Than need to buy a game. If this PS3 isn't getting to expensive.)

    If I were going to get a current generation console other than the Wii, I would get a PS3. It probably isn't as error-prone as a 360.

    +1 (And free WiFi stuff, better grapics and just overall better Menu etc.)

    I agree for it all, but for the: More Zelda related content. I think it is pretty much impossible to post more Zelda news than Nintendo gives us. Though, we can make our own stories and stuff time by time.

    But, I think we still should be able to post Mario, and all/most other Nintendo news. And sometimes we can big large other news.

    Layout sucks a little.

    Organization, could be better I guess. You have a idea?

    This is a little bit old new by now, but for people who don´t watch the scene closely. I am posting this great news.

    The PlayStation 3 is as good as hacked by the Hacker who goes under ´Geohot´. He also did manage to hack the Ipod Touch and Iphone.

    Hello hypervisor, I'm geohot

    I have read/write access to the entire system memory, and HV level access to the processor. In other words, I have hacked the PS3. The rest is just software. And reversing. I have a lot of reversing ahead of me, as I now have dumps of LV0 and LV1. I've also dumped the NAND without removing it or a modchip.

    3 years, 2 months, 11 days...thats a pretty secure system

    Took 5 weeks, 3 in Boston, 2 here, very simple hardware cleverly applied, and some not so simple software.

    Shout out to George Kharrat from iPhoneMod Brasil for giving me this PS3 a year and a half ago to hack. Sorry it took me so long :)

    As far as the exploit goes, I'm not revealing it yet. The theory isn't really patchable, but they can make implementations much harder. Also, for obvious reasons I can't post dumps. I'm hoping to find the decryption keys and post them, but they may be embedded in hardware. Hopefully keys are setup like the iPhone's KBAG.

    This means we can expect PS3 Mode Homebrew.

    In Blu-ray Mode, you already can run Linux, and slowly Emulate Windows into Linux. Can't wait for the PS3 Mode to be opened.

    And maybe a Software or Hardware hacks to run backups of our games on our PS3. As PS3 games are very expensive, this really would be cool to see.

    But as he stated, he yet has to get the Key before anything will be released publicly.

    Of course it is better in long period usage.

    Though you indeed can have problems with Firefox not been recognized to use plug-ins installed on the PC, which IE can find. If it's not installed correctly. I have that problem at the moment.

    But using a Portable Firefox with Java installed on same USB seems to work. :) Also for portable Office etc.

    Have you tried Chrome yet?

    It's faster if you want to start the browser.

    But once loaded Firefox, its faster loading pages etc over all. For me. (Having add-ons installed.)

    It will go away after good rest, for both your eyes and body. (sleep, and day or two without a computer. :P )

    I still have popping them sometimes too. But only with vacations and like 16 hour per day straight on the computer. :P

    Also, I also have green eyes.

    And also some kind of hair like that, but may a little longer..

    It’s official! The New York Times revealed today that Netflix will be bringing their online media streaming service to the Nintendo Wii this spring.

    The Wii has had only minimal video material, but it will take a big step forward in this regard with Netflix, when the Wii adds the service this spring. Wii owners with a broadband Internet connection who have at least a $9-a-month subscription to Netflix’s DVD-by-mail service will be able to use the online service at no additional cost.

    But Wii owners will need to receive a free software disc in the mail from Netflix and put it into their console when they want to watch a movie, as on the PS3.

    Obviously the Wii’s maximum resolution of 480p holds users back from watching high definision streaming, but everything will still be available in standard SD format. *cough* WiiHD *cough*

    Excited, or does you’re Xbox 360/PS3/PC already take care of your movie streaming needs?

    I don't think you're supposed to do that. Though, we really should have a better User Submitted News system. (Like, PM'n one or all Moderators/Administrators if Topic is posted there, awaiting permission to be moved to the Homepage.)

    But also Users could just PM a Mod/Admin to approve their submitted news.

    At the other hand, we now have someone to control the Trash Can. ;D
