Almost-rape scene, girl gets her shirt ripped of, then Tetsuo and co. come and scare the bad guys away. At least, in the movie. It was just a joke, though... I've never seen any pictures or anything of the manga and I was trying to be like Teto with his post about Shrek 4. I guess I'm not cool enough.

I have liked Akira. I watched it two years ago for film studies. I don't see why someone would dislike it anyway, other than the story being kind of banana, but I'm sure if they read the manga it'd probably be better. Or something like that. I haven't read the manga. No one has. It doesn't actually exist. People just say it's based off of a manga because the credits and people say it was but it actually wasn't.

This was back on August 08, 2011, when Demonoid still existed. Funny how none of us have changed, except Shaq. Pheonix still can't Google, I'm still an awful person, Ganny's still hilarious, but Shaq is a lot more responsive to people in the chat.
 
Found this while looking for a program someone told me to download in the chat a while back. Couldn't think of it and then I just typed in "Converter that has a pineapple logo" and boom, Handbrake.

So, Nabe streamed some Witch Hunter Robin, which is apparently similar to Darker Than Black, although it seems to be a lot less violent. It's been decent so far, although I don't know if it's actually good since Nabe, Double, and I joked around during each episode saying that a bunch of characters were Persona 4 characters (Which was hilarious since in episode 6 or 7, there was actually a character called Chie) or Keanu Reeves, which actually happened twice... And besides that, I have made the main character, Robin, my waifu since she's perfect.
 
But, yeah, I guess it's better than average, but doesn't go far beyond that? The music and art/animation quality is incredible, though. Especially since it's 11 years old, although a few of the characters have maybe 1.5x the normal forehead size but I get over it.
 
I dunno, I guess I'll just have to wait until the end of the show since I'm only at episode 8, but I just don't feel like it'll go above and beyond what it's doing right now. Hopefully, I'll be proved wrong. I do very much enjoy the characters though, even if they're only above average, they're very loveable? I don't actually know if I agree with myself...

Story of my life. Except it's more like I download all this anime and I'm like "So much to choose from" and "Man, I want to watch this so I shouldn't watch anything else" and then nothing gets watched. Nothing.

This was pretty fantastic. Not only is the message so necessary for some people to hear, whether they be the bully or the bullied, the art and animation for the entire video is phenomenal. I'm amazed by how this all came together into this beautiful work of art.
 
"We grew up learning to cheer on the underdog because we see ourselves in them", my favorite line from the video, it just reminds me of all the Adam Sandler movies where he's always the underdog that I used to love watching.
 
 
Here we see another thread where Pheonix completely disregards the thread, which is surprising since the video is artistic as bananas. Also, Phanta, you completely missed the point of the video and the fact that he was in 3rd grade when this happened. You can't tell a 3rd grader to grow up. : /

I feel like they could easily improve the game by either replacing Greatfish Isle with a dungeon, since it apparently was originally going to have one, but also adding new things to a lot of islands that would make them fun to go to.
 
I realize everyone wants a new dungeon, but I'd rather have more of a reason to go to an island but even more so to go back to it and have fun with them.

If you don't want to watch all of the videos in this guy's review of the 3D Zeldas, I don't blame you, but at least go to 16:25 in the video and watch as he takes away all of the useless islands that have almost nothing to be found on them. He's completely right about the fairy islands, the reefs having nothing interesting to them, and the triangle islands after their initial use. I'd just like to see them have a use other than padding, big octos (which isn't even the island itself), or being used for the story and being hated because of Seahats.
 

 
Honestly, I don't see why this game even needed a graphical update, and the few pictures we've seen don't look as fantastic as the original did to me, but I'll wait until E3 or new pictures. But I do hope they keep a lot of things the same, like the fantastic combat, although if they find a way to improve it, I'm all ears. Speaking of ears... one thing I hope they do not change at all is the music. I think it's almost fact now that Wind Walker's soundtrack is amazing.
 
Also, make it so we can warp to either Mother OR Child Isles... Not just Mother. Also, more than 3 pictures in the Pictobox, please. An unlimited amount would be much nicer, thank you. I want to actually try and collect the figurines, not be pushed away by the fact that I only get 3 pictures per trip. A prize for collecting them all and maybe even one at the halfway mark that isn't Rupees would be great as well.

Also, I realize it's just a movie, but I honestly expected something decent out of it since Oda actually had a part in it. It was kind of a let down. Also, how can someone get into One Piece at the start of New World?? That's just wrong. Every single crew member has already been introduced and they wouldn't know their backstories and with that they don't know what they're fighting for or why they're with Luffy?? That's just so wrong...

No, the difficulty pretty much stays the same, Luneth. It's got a reputation for being one of the easiest Atlus games for a reason. Just trained like normal/fuse Persona, though, it's still a decent difficulty. Your post reminds me that I want to complete the Devil Survivor games even if the art style for that game annoys me!

But the PSP remake fixed way too much to pass it up over the original US release, so sorry, Blacky Mcgee, you will be missed. ;~; Also, on the topic of P1, I have no idea what I'm doing after three battles, this isn't P3 or P4 and I'm scared. But, I know that after I get used to everything and have more battles that I'll understand it in time. It's just so different and not to today's standards, but that will only make it so much sweeter when I learn how to abuse it.

Or it's talking about the X and Y axes and the 3rd game will be the 3rd axis, Z, which would make sense since these are the first 3D main games.

 
In other news, I've finished Kokou no Hito, a manga about rock-climbing and loneliness. It's beautiful, sometimes incomprehensible(to me, at least), and a pretty great story. Just wish I could've understood it better, I guess.
 
Might try Welcome to the NHK again. Maybe. Should be good stuff, apparently it's about useless people and trying to get them to be useful in society. Maybe I can relate better to it now that I've realize I'm one of those.

Honestly, Majora's Mask is pretty good all on its own. The atmosphere, gameplay, and story are already so fantastic that I feel they don't really need touching up. I can agree with you that they should try to add in new ways for you to interact with the masks after you've gotten them for a few of them, although most are already pretty cool, but additional ways to have fun with them never hurt such as the Mask of Scents or Bremen Mask, since both of these only had 1 or 2 uses in total.
 
Also, giving it the same treat as Ocarina of Time got with the boss challenges. They could maybe even try to give it a "Master Quest" version, although I'd doubt that, but if they did it would be new to everyone and that would be pretty exciting, maybe even change the overworld or the Moon trials?

According to Shaq, contrary to what this guide says, you should watch episodes 25 and 26 during the middle of End of Evangelion. I just did it the way the guide says and it didn't make any difference, but that way does make more sense, so if you want to do that, go ahead. If you're like me, you might think Death and Rebirth is any sort of new stuff at all, which it is not. It has barely any new scenes and it's very, very condensed and can be outright skipped. The Rebirth part is the first half of End of Evangelion.

Basically, what the guide says is Original anime(1-24) -> End of Evangelion -> (25-26) -> Rebuild Movies 1&2.

You can watch all 26 episodes, but 25 and 26 will be so out of nowhere that you'll be like "What" as evidenced by the English voice actor for Shinji's reaction easter egg. Actually, don't watch this until you watch the first the movie and original 26 episodes. Then it's actually hilarious:

I'd say a better tip for knowing when to go onto the next boss for Persona 3 is just getting as far as you can in Tartarus at that point. Persona 3 is really easy, at least for me, and that's what I did every time. And when you do do this, go through all of Tartarus in one night. Doesn't matter if you get sick the next day, because sickness only affects you in battle and not the dating sim part of the game.

Praying at the shrine on days that no one is available to talk to is useful for social links that require you to talk to them a lot, like all of your party members' social links. Another good tip is to go to social links that are less available like ones only available on one day of the week, compared to ones like the book store that are available every day but Monday.

You can raise your three social stats in the arcade at the mall and you can also upgrade them individually at the library(school), coffee shop(left side of mall), and karaoke spot(top of mall), but only do this when you aren't social linking or there's a social link that you can see frequently. Or if it's right before a test. You need 2, 4, and 6 in intelligence for each consecutive trimester.

Also, a little tip for fusing Personae, you can get different skill fusions by deselecting all the demons in the fusion and then selecting them again. It's useful for when you want to get the more useful skills on one of the two or more demons. It takes some time if you want specific ones, though. Like, 5-10 minutes of deselecting and reselecting for the perfect combination of skills.

I saw the name in the new threads box and thought this was going to fanfiction. What a great surprise this was lol.
