Teto liked a post in a topic by Fierce Muffin in Persona 5
I know there's an Atlus thread, but that doesn't matter, Persona 5 gameplay trailer is HERE:
Things to note:
Catherine models (MC even looks exactly like Vincent in the prison scene) Guns Demons are back, like in P1 and P2 Shadows as well, seems that way from the dungeon scene Stealth??? Characters wear the mask to summon Personas, it seems All-out attacks Anti-hero group? Sick-ass stylization Twin Velvet Room attendants Igor is back???????????? I don't understand Well-animated cutscenes (hopefully throughout) Mascot character, for better or worse MC seems to be able to transform into his Persona?? MC is totally Sho from Ultimax Party members: Sakamoto Ryuuji (guy), Morgana (cat), Takamaki Anzu (girl) Day system is also back Social links possibly replaced by "Cooperation", it's listed in the game's menu screen in the place social links would be, so one can only assume Velvet Room has now taken the form of a prison, which fits the game's theme quite well and will probably end with the main character breaking free during the final boss And one final thing is this nice artwork:
Full size here: http://i.imgur.com/LWrgEQR.png
And the official website has also been updated here, if you wanna check it out, there's not much to look at though: http://persona5.jp/
And more more news: http://p-ch.jp/news/detail/?nid=244
Translation for that here: http://www.siliconera.com/2015/02/05/persona-5-producer-shares-thoughts-trailer-characters/
In short, get hype.

Well, this was an unexpected surprise. Went on AnimeNewsNetwork and saw that there's a sequel movie for You Are Umasou in the works and it's coming out this summer. Crazy stuff. Guess this'll give me a reason to rewatch it. Again... in a year since 9 month DVD/Bluray wait.
I know it's made for kids and stuff, but I hope this new one's better than the first with its story/characters. The animation was great and the movie in general was cool as heck since dinosaurs, but the story and characters definitely could've been better. It's animated dinosaurs though, which is quite a rare occurrence in anime, so it'll be great either way.
You Are Umasou Gets 2nd Film.

I beat Demon's Souls for the first time yesterday. Was pretty great, although I would have had significantly less fun with the game if I didn't look up help on the wiki the couple of times I got seriously frustrated.
For the most part, though, it was a lot of fun. I'll play Dark Souls eventually, although I plan on getting around to trying Persona first.

These things are so vague. Like at least with the Oculus Rift, we at least have a good understanding of how well it works because it's just a couple screens attached to your head and they have videos of real people demonstrating what they're seeing on an external screen with real reactions. With augmented reality tech like Google Glass and HoloLens, there's really no way to tell if these things work nearly as well as they do without using them, but they're so rare and demos of them are exclusive, so I'm still sitting on skepticism of Google Glass even though they've been commercially available and real for a long time now. To me these commercials bear just as much weight as that fake hoverboard commercial that came out last year, because all these videos are just of these heavily CG'd tech demos that have no believability. They're practically in the same realm of reality to me, especially with the frivolous interfaces that look like they're pulled from bad sci-fi films.

Besides all that it looks like a vast improvement over the N64 version.
February 13th can't get here fast enough, I'm just glad I've recovered (almost) all of my manual dexterity.

So, this service is actually coming to an end. Both links below have all the details, but basically, games will stop coming with codes on April 1st, digital games will stop being offered on April 20th, and then Club Nintendo will finally be out of service on September 30th.
The good news from all of this though is they're not just getting rid of it, they plan to replace it in the future. From what the article on Siliconera suggests, we might be getting something really good.
I'd welcome this with open arms. Sounds like a bunch of really good features that would make being a Nintendo fan a much better experience. We'll have to wait and see if this really does happen though, since it's just speculation right now.
Read the article and the FAQ from Nintendo for more information:

I must say, I feel my time here on this forum is over. It was good while it lasted, but I don't feel like I quite fit in. So I'll be leaving. Thank you for all of your kindness.

It's an 18+ VN, but not on Steam. You can replace the files with the 18+ ones though so then you can play a porn game with achievements on Steam if that's your fetish or something.

The exact opposite can be found in this video:
I watched it after the very boring finale last night and it made me appreciate the marathon. Wish I watched this instead of having it muted. Some of the things they do are amazing. I wish the marathons had more games like these where they show off the player's true skill. I still do enjoy the long games with cutscenes and so do a lot of others, but things like this are what truly amazes people. At least me.

The nerd factor was high in most speedruns. I show disdain for overzealous nerdy people due to my subconscious feeling of superiority over them. I do not like to see fun being had by those I perceive to be beneath me.
I liked when the 20K Viewers left.

Not just any charity though. They do it for the Prevent Cancer Foundation and have consistently been raising over a million dollars each event for the past two years now, I believe. It has slowly been getting more and more popular each year. I remember when they held the event at a very generous speedrunner's house because it was so small and their goal was something like $50,000 or $100,000. It's amazing how far they've come.
They also have donation incentives that make sure they get some money, but also to allow the viewers to actually participate in a way instead of just watching. The most popular being a bid war between saving or killing the animals in Super Metroid, but there are others as well that make someone do something extra in a popular game or just naming a character(s) in a game.
Basically, it's just a really fun event with fun people (for the most part) raising money to prevent cancer by playing video games really fast and usually ends up being hilarious. Sometimes, they do other charities though, like the Autism... uh... awareness or prevention? foundation or Doctors Without Borders. I feel like they're going to stick with PCF from now on though, since it's such a big deal for many people above others.
