I remember having that problem with my flatmate senior year of college. It just turned out to be relationship issues with a girl, wasn't even remotely my fault. It helps to keep in mind a lot of the time a person's disposition isn't really your fault.

Lots of the Southern Belles around here are like that; all cute till you get them talking about the narrow-minded opinions they have
  3. Knuckle added a post in a topic You know what I hate the most?

Either that or a doppleganger will find them and use them to shapeshift into you. I'd hate to see that happen

That looks like Eridan splooged all over a piece of paper
  5. Knuckle added a post in a topic Why do all trans people love anime?

Cascade hates anime more than anybody I know though
Maybe Ammonsa too, I can't recall.
No offense but this rant seems unfounded :x

    Welcome back!
all of that stuff died out in popularity a while ago sadly. Good to have you back though

Yeah I'm still reading Homestuck and liking it. The last few updates have been really solid.
  8. Knuckle added a post in a topic Hats are dumb and I don't like them

A fair question, and very wise of you to ask an esteemed wizard such as myself
There are a couple ways the Sorting Hat can deal with head lice. The first step is preemptive charming and spellweaving on the hat to remove bugs and any other unpleasantness. Of course, magical maladies could still persist, so the hat is tested and examined to identify any persisting problems the Sorting Hat might be having. If any children still don't want to wear the Sorting Hat after all these precautions, they have to live with Filch and learn to clean Hogwarts all day.

I do remember you having that pink hat from One Piece in your apartment when I visited and I thought that was awesome. One of the few hats I've ever liked.

Hats are dumb and I don't like them
I don't like hats. I have never worn hats. Some people wear them for practical purposes and I get that; my dad wears a hat when he golfs every day (well it's a visor but whatever). I understand that if you're a construction worker or a wizard then you have to wear a hat as part of your job/incredibly awesome pastime. I'd wager about 50% of hat wearers have hats for such purposes and my rant isn't about those people.
My beef is with the other 50%. These are people who wear hats as a form of expression, sometimes just following a trend, other times trying to borrow from the cultural implications a hat has. Cowboy hats are the classic example; practically nobody wears a cowboy hat and then goes out to herd livestock all day, it's a hat about taking all the cultural significance of cowboys and jamming it on you head to make other people think things about you. The Fedora (and occasionally the Trilby) have recently been vilified as the hat of pseudo-intellectuals and manchildren in a similar manner, and I figure enough has been said on that topic on other websites. Regardless, my point is that hats are probably the most connotatively rich clothing item people choose to wear; in almost every case changing your hat (or putting one on) alters your image more than changing your shoes/pants/shirt/etc.
And you know what? I think that's dumb and I'm not sure why. I love it when people change their hairstyle, or put on makeup, but hats just irk me in a weird way. I guess it's because hair/makeup is flexible and the way you change it can subtly alter what kind of impression you want to make. Hats, on the other hand, always give the same impression once you put it on your head and everything else you wear either compliments the hat or stands in gross contrast to it. Nobody is ever gonna pull off a baseball cap while wearing a suit and tie, for example.
Anyway, I think that's my two cents on hats, typed up at the crack of dawn for reasons I don't even know. Feel free to agree/disagree with me or talk about your own opinion on hats.

Oh hey, yeah Ganny (Ganondorf333 back in the day) was the first post in this thread in years, I'm surprised the thread even still exists.
Anyway, don't sweat it. That was six years ago, I think we've all changed a lot in those years and have put a lot of things behind us. Glad to see you again
I'd love to hear what you've been up to if you want to stick around. Dunno if you remember me or not though, but I'm sure there's at least a couple familiar faces here.
  12. Knuckle added a post in a topic Nintendo Movies (news)

Why not make a news post about this?
Anyway, I don't really watch many movies these days but I'd consider seeing a Nintendo one if I had nothing better to do one day and it was in theaters.

I do wish I'd had more to do at night than give a key to someone and nothing else.
Also as far as power roles go, not to toot my own horn but I feel like my idea in Yume Nikki Werewolf with tradeable roles made it a lot harder for town to just sit back and deduce who did what at night. I'd like to make another game like that again
  14. Knuckle added a post in a topic A Song of Ice and Werewolves (GoT)

I have a couple game ideas but they're much more complex than vanilla.
Also, Brodongo, what was the plan for that Dothraki Invasion Timeline you mentioned just before the start of the game? Or was that just a joke :x

Yeah, I feel like to some extent this game can be summed up as "Knuckle and Pheo are big, indecisive dummies." I should have stuck to my guns and pushed for a lynching of Teto even when the votes were going to Linox
  17. Knuckle added a post in a topic A Song of Ice and Werewolves (GoT)

Role faithfulness. I figured if I were sent to avenge my sister by bringing justice to the Lannisters I should probably be trying to kill at least a few of them. Too bad there wasn't a single Lanniser wolf :X
  18. Knuckle added a post in a topic A Song of Ice and Werewolves (GoT)

I knew I shouldn't have focused on trying to kill all the Lannisters
  19. Knuckle added a post in a topic A Song of Ice and Werewolves (GoT)

Well, I guess it's up to me to hammer it in. I hope we're right about this one.
    Linox
I'm worried I might be killed tonight since I'm fairly active so at least i probably get to have revenge on a Lannister for the death of Elia

  21. Knuckle added a post in a topic A Song of Ice and Werewolves (GoT)

Well dang if this is something we'll agree on then I'll move my vote back to Teto
  22. Knuckle added a post in a topic A Song of Ice and Werewolves (GoT)

Very well, I feel anxious about doing this but I feel like we can all agree on a vote for at least Linox

I don't understand why you're telling us about the cooldown drawback just now. Third day you claimed you didn't feel right about voting and abstained, why not tell us about the cooldown then since you already claimed your redirection ability? This seems very suspicious.

Oh yeah I loved 9, too bad it was a little on the short side, I feel like it could have had a few extra scenes.
