  1. Tidus_x_Yuna__Wedding_Portrait_by_SirJoshizzle.png

I actually finished this yesterday (check the date under my signature), but whatever. I like how Yuna's kimono and Tidus' pants came out, but not so much the shading on their eyes and his haori.

  2. I finally started my summer homework for AP lit [nevermind that school starts in five days] and read Oedipus Rex. That was freakin' BRAZY! It was all forms of incest and dysfunctional family.

I want a snow bubble from Tapioca Express now.

  3. I went to the optometrist to confirm my red-green, then it was off to the photography studio to pick up my senior pictures (it's in Post Yourself now). My vision is still kind of blurry from the dilation drops, but I can see clearly for the most part now.

  4. 7:25-8:25: AP English literature

    8:30-9:28: Political science

    9:33-10:31: Foods/cooking

    10:36-11:34: Advisory/office

    11:39-12:09: Lunch

    12:14-1:12: Journalism

    1:17-2:15: AP art history

    Pretty chill. I like it.

  5. I remember I had to write in cursive all through fourth grade and they'd say I'd be using it for the rest of my life. The only time I ever really needed it after that was for my SATs.

  6. Today was freshmen orientation for the 9th graders coming in to my school, and my friends and I volunteered to give campus tours. It can be read about here. Afterwards we got froyo and boba. It was gooood. :]

  7. I remember I went through a lot of hangout areas during lunch the past three years in high school. My school has ~2500 students, so there's more freedom as to where we can go around campus. Freshman year I spent with a few friends walking around campus as we ate. We usually settled in the amphitheater, but we usually would migrate from area to area. Sophomore year, I ate lunch with a few friends in my physics class from freshman year. Then for the last five to ten minutes of lunch, I'd walk with them to their history class (even though it was a bit of a pain that I had to walk across campus to RO). Last year, I hung out in my Japanese class, and would sometimes migrate between that and my academic league advisor's classroom. Because I had journalism after lunch then, I'd sometimes spend lunch in there finishing up stories for the school paper.

What I think is particularly funny about hangout spots during lunch is that they're more segregated by ethnicity than social hierarchy. The main hallway is where all the Mexican kids hang out, known as Cholo Hallway. There's a hallway intersecting it where all the Filipino kids who speak Tagalog hang out known as Fob Hallway (Fob as in "Fresh Off the Boat"). At the end of one of them is a tree known as Fob Tree. The quad in the middle of the school is where the freshmen hang out, and there's a large tree in the middle of it where all the seniors hang out known as Senior Tree. There's a shaded area next to the gym where all the burger grills are where the Pacific Islander and black kids go, and next to it is the ROTC classroom where all the RO heads eat lunch. Most classrooms are open for students to eat lunch in as long as the teacher allows it, and usually it's clubs who eat in there.

  8. What had happened was, today I woke up around 6:45 to get ready for a Link Crew meeting at school. My friend picked me up at 7:25, picked up some breakfast on the way and got to school 20 minutes early. We hung out with some of our friends we haven't seen all summer before the meeting started at 8 in the auditorium, only to find out the meeting was cancelled because admin was being an ass about opening the classrooms. So I went home three hours earlier than I was supposed to. The rest of the day was spent doing nothing. Nap, bangus, carne asada fries, you know how it is.

  9. We're asking a color blind kid his favorite color. :/ Chartreuse and maroon, of course.

But really, I like neutral mid-tone colors. Neutral shades of blue, tan and beige, orange, etc. Nothing really too jarring, because I have enough jarring things in my life anyway. Black and white for simplicity works really nice, too.

As for wearing, I wear a lot of black, blue and white, but still in neutral shades. Green is a nice color to wear. Orange is a nice color to wear as well. I've been really getting into wearing yellow a lot. I have a few yellow shirts and yellow jeans that I like. My like for yellow doesn't really go beyond wearing it, though. I tend to monochrome my outfits. Like if I want to wear blue, I'll wear all blue in different shades. I also don't like to wear overly contrasting shades of the same color. Like if I'm wearing dark blue jeans, I won't wear a light blue shirt or something. I wish I had more pink to wear, though. But again, a moderate, neutral shade of it. I have one pink v-neck, but it's more of a salmon, really. I'd like more variation in pink clothing for when I do Pink Wednesdays. My friend hates yellow and pink, and I like to wear my yellow jeans and pink shirt around, just to piss her off.

  10. But if Link had to have a speaking voice, then Sasanuma Akira (Twilight Princess Link) should be the one to do it. His speaking voice is pretty decent enough, and it would match Link pretty well. Or for continuity's sake, Midorikawa Hikaru should do it again since he did Link's voice in the CD drama, even if he is Marth's voice.

  11. The first people I used were Tidus, Cloud, Squall and Warrior of Light. The first boss I used was Ultimecia because Time Compression is no joke, boyo.
