  1. Have any of you ever been to camp? I was just wondering how different camps operate. For instance, in Sydney (don't know about the rest of Australia), they are three days long in the middle of the school year, and the teachers come with us.

Ahh, yes...three days of nature, crappy food, itchy matresses and malfunctioning showers, all for a low, low rip-off price of $200 Australian dollars.

So, if you have been to camp:

    1. Where was it?

    2. How was the food?

    3. What activities did you have to do?

    4. How comfertable were the beds.

    5. What were the toilets and showers like?

    6. How much did it cost? (Make sure you state if you're talking american dollars, british pound or indian rupees.)

    7. Can you give it a mark out of ten?

For me it was in near Newcastle (north of Sydney), and the food was worse than dog crap. We had to do canoeing, rock climbing, high ropes, giant swing and some other stuff. The beds were literally non-existant. The bed was ther and everything, but the materess was flatter than a pancake, and made of itchy latex. That sent a lot of kids back home, covered in red rashes. The toilets weren't bad, and the shower water could not stay on one level of heat for five seconds. It cost $180 AUS, and I'd give it a mark of 7/10.

  2. Mikel, seening as how it was a pain for all of us (not me, I already had the RTP) to download the RTP and the file, maybe you could compile it in a way that you'd only need to download one thing to get the game up and running. PM me if you want instructions.

I'm almost ready with the Zelda resources. I just need this stupid machine to stop stuffing up and I'll post them.

Also, I do belive that there is a script for Zelda-like movement.

About the title graphic, I'm going to do that now. What do you think about a red and purple colour scheme? (First thing that popped into my head when I thought Gerudo/Ganondorf.)

One question, how did you get the monsters to kill you in a split second in the first place. Even as a newbie starting out at RPG Maker I couldn't do that.

EDIT: I found the Zelda Tileset, and you can download it here.

I also found the Zelda movement script, and you can also PM me for it.

  3. Lost...I respect your intrests and everything but Lost is one of the most deformed shows on TV. It's worse then Jericho, and crapper than the OC.

The only plotline I can see in the whole show is that people are trapped on an island, and there is some unseen creature on it. Hardly interesting.

Exept if the unseen creature was Gollum/a Smurf. Gollum would go "Gollum, Gollum, Gollem!" and eat every one, and the Smurf would sing everyone to death.

  4. For 1&2, I saved them on to my computer somewhere. When I find them, I'll post. But a quick search around the web should get you some.

For 5, I'm not helping you develop the game. You need to think, does this windowskin suit the game?

For 6, please, no one is really going to enjoy the game if you treat it like that.

For 7, I'm not making a Zelda game anytime soon. I was blessed with a very active imagination, making me the ideal author/storyline writer, and if you want, I can give you tips on how to make the storyline more interesting.

Also, a tip. It would be nice to see you use a Zelda type of menu (Status Screen->Equipment Screen->Item Screen->Map->Status Screen.)

And one other thing I forgot, try putting doors on houses that actually open.

Now, about the title screen, can you give me a description of the colour scheme and stuff you want on it?

  5. WOW! An Australia, RPG Maker XP using, Zelda fan. Just like me!

You know, I get annoyed when I see avoidable spelling mistakes. So I'm going to ask for permission to edit the game. I do have a regestered full version of RPG Maker XP and I'm actually good at it. I'm currently working on Nausica

  6. that is flaming...well seeing as this fourm has no (apparent) rules... i think you're very stupid as well.

  7. I live down in australia, so we are LAST to get the game. And may I point out that the game is targeted american players (like they didn't have enough already).

I mean, EXACTLY Xmas is stupid, but everyone buys presents 1,2 or even 3 months before so both 1st NOv and Oct are explainable.

  8. I swear this is not a joke! Now, I know they didn't tell us the release date at TP, or so we thought. This is how I found out.

I am in shopping center. I am near EB Games. I walk in. I ask if they know the TP release date. They Do. 1st November 2006.

I was sooooooo suprised that i nearly fainted. Then after that I was bouncing on about the release date. IT IS BEFORE CHRISTMAS PEOPLE!!!!!!!!

And what I saw on the screen proved it!

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess - GC - Release Date: 1/10/06

    YAY!!!

  9. I've discovered some online Zelda MMORPG's, their not bad. It's like this:

    Your name:

    Pick your gender: Male-Link|Female-Zelda

    Pick your character: Lttp|MC|LOZ

Pick you clothes colour: (How much red, blue and green you want in it.)

But only a fan could do this. Nintendo would try, and fail miserably.

  10. My brother would try it, swing it to hard, loose his grip, the controller hits wall....SMASH!!!

And as for the bow, he would....I don't know, but he has a habit of breaking & ruining things.

  11. I've been to walkthroughs. Trust me, I do everythig it says and I'm still stuck!
