  1. As I previously stated,

"To put it into perspective for you, we have total control of your network and this site."

IF thats even TRUE, it doesn't make sense, I don't get vulgar often, but would someone please tell me what the hell has been going on? And I mean, the whole thing.

  2. ... hey... how'd you post on the front page in the first place, hrm?

    If that's even true, we're screwed (Though I'm still not sure what's going on.. . . . . .

  3. I'm really confused. If they hacked the site, One: That's illegal, I'm pretty sure.

Two: why doesn't the head admin contact the Host site ( Ibeleive Hyrul.nets is I.P. board) and get them kicked off through there? If I were an Admin, I'd already have done so.

Please. Someone tell me allthe details odf what this is about.

Has our site been "taken over" by a group of crackers (I refuse to say the term "Hacker"because that's not what they did)

Is this the Admins Idea of a joke

    Is it a game?

Is it a movement ment to stir up more activity?

Please, someone tell me what this is.

  4. Could someone please explain to me what is happening? Pandas? Armies? I think I've missed the point.

How odd. How very very odd.

I didn't read more than the first and last to posts (Are you kidding me!?!? Read all 12o-some posts?), but from what I can glean, this is either the Admin playing a joke, or the Sites been hacked (most likely the latter from the post I'm about to qoute.

We assure you, no mod has taken part in this and it's not part of April Fool's day.

Dustin might have done something, but the Panda project had been going on for a very long time in chat.

We just didn't know exactly what they were doing in there.

    I dunno.

I can't even ban the guy or set warning levels right now.

    Sahaqiel

If the sites been hacked, let me know I'd like to do what I can to help,( This happened on another site I'm part of, only with XXX instead of Pandas) but if this is a joke, fool me once shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. (Don't expect help if the site really is hacked)

  5. There will always be new Zelda games coming out.

For starters: Zelda brings in too much money for Nintendo to throw away.

But, more importantly, even if Nintendo stops making Zelda, the legend will live on in the hearts of the fans and followers, and as long as a single Zelda fan exists, new games will emerge. This is part of the cycle of all Modern Myths.

Look at Star Trek. There hasn't been a new eppisode or movie in the theaters for years, and yet the fan base lives on,, making there own adventures in the final frontier.

Same thing with all Myths, no matter what their form: As long as a Follower exists, the legend live on.

  6. Midna took me a total of about 48 hours over the course of 2 weeks.

Link took me about 4 hours in one day.

The Midna pose took the longest becuase it was the first time I did many things. It was the first time I used a model I didn't make myself. It was the first time I've ever done anything with people. It was also the first time I had to manipulate an object in a program it was not meant for.

Link was a bit quicker to manipulate because I learned several things about posing charecters with Midna.

  7. I understand the feeling. Before Twilight Princess, I thought the idea ludacris that anyone would cry over a video game.

Twilight Princess nearly made me cry. (Even now, just listening to the ending brings tears to my eyes.

(P.S. WOOT! I think I found a program to let me do the animation. That just leaves the actual animating.)

  8. Any Requests? ( I can't do faces yet, but I'll do just about any thing else (For FREE!! wOoT!!

  9. Any one good with music would be more than wlecome as well.

:grinninglink: Good News: I figured out what program I need to use to animate the 3ds files. It's a program called 3ds MAX 9.

:ouch: Bad News: It cost around $3,459. ->OucH<-

:grinninglink: Good News: I can get a free version

:ouch: Bad News: It only lasts for Thirty days (I'd need about that much time just to begin learning about all the stuff the program can let me do.)

 Worse News: None of that matters because my computer can't do graphics worth crud. (Ever see Tron? My computer makes the graphics in that ancient CG flick look like Piixar''s latest film.:banghead:)

:triforce: Best News: My dads going to try and buy me a new computer ((Yay!) Ihope It's a MAC)

  10. Possibly:

    Unknown 2/2-->MM-->TP-->UnKnown 1/2-->UnKnown2

    and from links persepective: TP--> Unknown 1/2--> Unknown-->2/2--> Unknown2

This looks weird but bear with me:

Whenever I refer to link in the following, I am speaking of the Link from Twilight Princess

The unknowns refer to games yet to be released.

In Unknown 1/2 and 2/2, Which are the same game, but seperated by time, Link somehow gets thrown back 7-9 years.

In MM =, Link is looking for a lost companion (Midna?) and stumbles into an alternate dimension.

he could have been actually lookingfor a way into that dimension in hopes that the Twilight Mirror still existed and remain undisturbed in said alternate world. (The Link in MM being the same Link as in TP also explains the apparant "absence" of Navi (If she didn't exist in Tp, she couldn't in MM))

Perhaps Zelda, seeing Links depression since losing Midna, told him of a way into an alternate dimension, when in which the Twilight Mirror lay undisturbed.

During Link's travels to find this alternate dimension (Unkowns 1/2 and 2/2) link gets knocked back in time 7-9 years. during these adventures, he discovers the Ocarina of Time (Explaing why there are no songs learned at the begining of MM). along with the Ocarina, he learns of the location of the Alternate world and picks up the Kokori Sword.

Along his way to the AD (Alternate Dimension) he meets skull kid and the adventures of MM take place. After running all over the worlds of MM, Link Learns that the Twilight Mirror does not exist in Clock World (Explaing why he leaves at the end of MM) after this is where I'm unsure of what might happen (A.K.A. I have to many theories, each with their own special Time Paradox).

    What do you think?

  11. Westerngunslinger.jpg

When I started making this one, I planned to put Link in western out fit and photoshop him into the Hidden Village from Twilight Princess, but posing him was as far as I got.

  12. Let me get this straight:

    You say it goes:

    [OOT]

    *LttP

    *LoZ

    *AoL

The problem with this is that:

    1. MM doesn't fit anywhere in there.

    2. Neither does TP.

    3. I've never played WW, but what you described is nothing like the storylines I've heard.

  13. Custom1.jpg

    Custom2.gif

They look good, but that's about as good as it gets. I can't pose the faces, move the legs to much, or do animation with the program I have (Google SketchUp)

If you have a good .3ds capable editor/animator please please let me know.

  14. The two kids at my lunch table and I have recently gotten into long long disscussions about the continuity of the Zelda Series.

All of us there have played Ocarina Majora, Twilight, and A Link to the Past.

So far here's what we have agreed on: OOT and MM are directly sequential, LP is somehow a prelude to TP; either before OOT, but not the same Link as OOT; or after MM, but not the same Link as either TP or OOT. This is from the reasoning that the story is somewhat simillar, the music used in both TP and LP is pretty simlar (The castle theme in LP is the same as in TP, for example), and the have the same basic principles: two worlds, a dark and a light, you get transformed into an animal in the dark world until you find a "crystal") As I type this I think : wait a minute! could Link to the past possibly come after Twilight Princess?. (I wouldn't know, I've only beaten about a quarter of it.)

We've also decided that all the old NES, SNES and GBA/DS games fit in some where but we're not sure where.

We've also put up the possibility that Wind Waker (and all other cell) Style graphics] Celda style games. are not cannon with the "Normal" Zelda games, but cannon to them selves.)

If any one out there has played any of the Zelda games (Especialy ones that aren't listed in the Cannon that follows) please post the summeries or possible cannon place ments?

For the sake of quieter, less argumentitive lunches, please post!

Please copy the following into all posts and updates:

    The Cannon So Far:

*possible location, but not set in stone

    [set in stone]

    *A Link to the Past

    [Ocarina of time]

    [Majora's Mask]

    *A Link to the Past

    [Twilight Princess]

    * A Link to the past

    Other known Zelda Games:

    The Legend of Zelda

The Legend of Zelda II: The Adventures of Link

    Link's Awaking

    Oracle of Seasons

    Oracle of Ages

    Wind Waker

    Phantom Hourglass

(*Note: Ocarina of Time: Master Quest counts the same as the "normal" Ocarina of Time)

  15. Whoa, that's pretty darn good! :o

I'm sorry that I can't really help, because I'm not used to this stuff, but if you are able to get everything you need and end up making the Project, then I can't wait! :)

You can help. You don't need to be a computer expert or a CGI artist for most of the stuff I'm going to do with this project. (I probably should've labled this The Midna Project: Phase 1)

I plan on doing much more than just creating a new ending for TP. One of things I've always wanted to do was capture The Legend of Zelda in every medium possible; Art, Sketches, clay, poems, movies, Legos, and just about anything.

You can help by posting any really odd Zelda Art here, or PMing me with it.

    (Nice Sig)

  16. Thanks for the music. It's awsome

Facepunch is where I got the Charecter files from TP.

the files were pretty great, but unfortunetly they're in .3ds format, Which I can't use because I don't have a .3ds animator.

While I have the Charecter Files, I need the world files as well.

Facepunch's Guide to ripping the files directly from the 'cube is off web for some reason.

    Custom1.jpg

That's about as good as the images get in my editor. I can't change the facial expressions or anything.

  17. That was hilarious! I've been thinking of making sets for a while now. It's great to see someone else already made a movie out of them. That's just great. Really made my day.

  18. (This is but a small part of what I hope The Midna Project to be.)

I just finished playing Twilight Princess and found the ending quite depressing. (Untill Twilight Princess, I never would have thought it possible for a game to make me cry). I've worked up different ending to the game that doesn't include editing out any of the original plot. I just need to add stuf in.

What I Have: Most of the Twilight Princess Charecter Files in .3ds format.

    The plot

    What I Need:

The level file for the place where the Mirror resides.

    Sound files

A link to a site showing how to rip the 3d and other files directly from the Cube disk.

Moral support, Constructive Critisim, Help and Input are also aprecieted. Thank you.

A .3ds Animation Studio would really be apreciated.
