    I brought my Sansa View on a boy scout camping trip. My friend suggested that I stick it in his coffee can. I did, and he put his cellphone and ipod in it as well.

    I pulled it out, two days later, to find it had a totaled screen. I was dubios of that three sided deathcan, and now my friend is being a jerk, saying it wasn't his fault.

    Is it my fault? Does he have to replace my Sansa?

    Well, my windows machine just up and bsod'd. Fortunately, from what I can tell, no damage done.

    Gah, now I need to start over on my game mod.

    I use a combo of malwarebytes anti malware and avast! to get all the buggies out of my windows system. However, I primarily use linux, and there are only maybe 10 - 20 known viruses for linux.

    Also, a neat lesser known feature of avast!. There Is a scanning screen saver. It scans AND does your favorite screen saver!

    I use four different browsers. I use the fox, opera, chrome, and a custom made one in python. The last is a b.... ummm a bother to use.

    I found out what it was. It's sort of a pipe (from what I assume) where I get the free software for Wapplesoft Mindows.

    Which is exactly why I want a screen recorder.

    Found the first bug: There is a thingy called xorg (have no idea) That is leaking at times 50% of my cpu and 15% of my ram. next step: figer out wut th' durn thing does.

    Just made the screen.

    PS: Does anyone know of a good screen recorder that isn't hypercam?

    PPS: Macdows 17 (Needs a better name; Suggest one!) is as slow as all get out. Now I must admit, I only have a 1 ghz possessor and 950 mb of ram, but it is awfully slow.

    So I decided to mash together mac os 10 and windows 7 together in a fully functional os and see what happens. I'm using xubuntu 10.04 as a base

    I'll update as I go along.

    Yeah, I've been there. Also, cleaning spit rags for your instrument can be gross, but not as bad as this one guy I knew who never cleaned his spit rag over six eyars of concert band.Also, cleaning a keyboard can be pretty gross.

    Yeah, I have experience with that. The computer keyboard at the lab wasn't working, so I flipped it over and gave it a good shaking. I was horrified. It looked as if a hazmat team should have been there.

    One more thing. Its four years old. And doesn't exist. It was registered under my friend's grandma's name over the phone (worst idea ever) for repairs. So we can't reregister. I want to send it back to he-- I mean Microsoft so they can fix it properly.

    Modem, no, you just need an ethernet connection, unless you're planning on connecting via wifi. Hdmi, Yes, you need a cable for that. Hey, does yours work better than mine?

    So I got this Xbox 360. It has the video game equivalent of cancer. Or some other deadly disease.

    then RROD.

    So you might be thinking this is a rant on how I got my ass served to me on a silver platter...

    But!

    While playing yesterday, I was on green team, along with four other guys.

    There were 25 blue people.

    We stomped them, taking first through fifth place, with me being third.

    Two guys were scouts and would occasionally stir up and push out the blues, one was guard for our base, and two were snipers.

    Worked out pretty well.
