Zelda Wii May Have Really Been Announced

This year at E3, fans from all over watched and anticipated the sacred moment we'd get a shred of information regarding Zelda Wii, which has been in development for over five years. However, we got everything but Zelda Wii. (And Pikmin)

Upon further examination, I've come to the conclusion that Zelda Wii was actually announced, but Shigeru Miyamoto, being the sneaky savior he is, pushed it into the expo under a cover title.

That's right.

Super Mario Galaxy 2 is actually Zelda Wii, set in modern times.

"But Sahaqiel!", you might say, "How can this be?"

I'll get to that now.

Super Mario Galaxy 2, rather, Zelda Wii, is obviously the big project we've all been waiting for.

The gameplay we've been shown confirms every drop of this.

First of all, Link's hat has been shrunk a bit and made more modernized. During the duration of the gameplay, Link was wearing a new tunic of red and blue design, which protects from overheating and drowning. See how his hat matches his new edgy brown hair and adult mustache.

Epona also makes a return as a green dinosaur-alien-like creature, which goes with the sci-fi feel.

Here we see Link running through SpaceHyrule Fields.

Here we have the beta creature from Twilight Princess, which was brought back to the new project.

Link being followed by Dark Links, or maybe even Arm Mimics.

Oh, and Epona can fly now.

Here we see a timeline of the development time of Zelda Wii and Super Mario Galaxy 2. As you can see, they're almost exactly the same.

When added up, these clues have irrefutable credibility.

So ends my report for now. :)

Excellent report, Sahaqiel. Though I'm not sure if all of the Zelda community will appreciate this unique, rhetorical (although comedic :) ) breakthrough.

Keep up the work.

This was funny, but only made me rage more over the fact that there was nothing about Zelda Wii.

Super Mario Galaxy 2 is an outrage.

That is all I have to say.

Oh, we are not amused.

It's a good thing you're saying this because you're trying to be nice (since apparently you are not).

Otherwise it could be poorly received.

I have the odd feeling that I was just Rick Rolled, but I wasn't hmm same disappointing feeling though.

Epic win. Although now I'm envisioning Link getting a sex-change operation, a highly specialized suit of space-armor, and joining the Federation to fight space pirates.

I don't think so, Saha. Very speculative of you. But it's not happening. But funny, I'll give that to you.
