Here I am, hyrule.net. Instead of posting and making a big deal out of nothing, I came back to one of my old threads. One of, I like to think, one of my happier topics. You see, this week I intend on logging out of Hyrule for my very last time...and for good. I am not planning on coming back. I am planning on staying in contact with a select few.

Sahaqiel will get mad at me for saying this, and will ultimately verbalize how he disagrees, but there's a time and place for everything. I won't say I'm getting too old for Hyrule, but I will say that my life in\s moving in a direction that does not include this forum. Time is spent on here that I cannot get back, time that I should be using for my priorities that do not include my internet life. I don't regret it - I have formed friendships on here that I will never forget, had laughs and tears that were just as real as the couch I'm sitting on. Three years, eight months, and five days worth of memories. This site has watched me grow up, and it's really strange, because I can actually look back and see how I've grown. To think I was just some new user who sometimes came on the chat and was even shy! And now, my membership since then has completely reversed, I am now an active forum member and a moderator. Crazy how time flies.

I will miss this place, and I will also miss the Skype chat and the IRC. I will eventually leave those, too. I'm not sure how many will notice when I'm actually gone for good. But I do encourage you to keep in touch with me.

Out of every forum and site I've joined, I've never been so loyal to any of them as this one...my only regret is that some of you will never see this.

And now, for everyone.

• To Sahaqiel - my first real friend on this forum. Although I know we didn't see eye-to-eye all the time, I will always be thankful for the friendship that you gave me. Not everyone will put everything down and listen to a rant that seems pointless, but you always did and that is simply one of the best things you could ever see in a person. Loyalty like that doesn't come by often anymore.
  
• Kimmy - my first encounter. The source of all the Cirt/Clit jokes and fellow female friend, back in the day. You always inspired me to have some spunk and to stick up for myself, as well as be rational with who I am.
  
• Fierce_Muffin - I'm not even sure what to say. Between a period of complete hatred directed towards you, then the whole MuffinxCirt thing, then just not even acknowledging each other for months, I'd like to say that we were bros. Off and on. Honestly a part of me is really worried when you ask us why we hate you. Like you're actually sad inside, and it ind of tore me up. So, I hope you're actually fine.
  
• Pheonix561 - I'll apologize for every creepy thing I did/said to you when I had that massive crush on you, lol. Really though, sorry. I think you're one of the people that can make me laugh the hardest on here and even as much as you like to tease me, you've always had that endearing brotherly touch that makes you one of my favorite people on this forum.
  
• Teto - You're seriously one of the only people that I have no idea what to expect anything from, which is good because I don't like it when I can predict people. We are forever music bros and I'm glad we got closer this past year. I feel like you're one of the more underappreciated people and :< that shouldn't be so.
  
• Cascade - Oh Cas. My mod sister, although we never really modded that much lol. Yet again, another person who I felt compelled to spill every last gut to. I've always trusted you the most and again, I'm happy we got so close. You are simply a fantastic person and don't ever, ever change. We will watch ponies and stuff still. <3
  
• Ganondorf333 - You're one of those those great, old friends, you know? At the same time, I've always admired you. You know how to make great music and have a superb vocabulary and wonderful use of English grammar (<3) and similarly to Teto, completely unpredictable and hilarious. If I'm not laughing at Pheo, it's either you or Teto. You have the best puns though. The BEST. I will forever be jealous of your spontaneous creativity.
  
• LL - my best friend on the forum. I know our friendship just ended rather badly, but I do appreciate the kind of friend you've been to me all this time. I wouldn't trade all those Skype calls for anything, and I wouldn't let anyone else make me listen to a song for 25 minutes. I am sorry you will be angry with me for basically ever.
  
• Nabe - Our contact was always rather flitting, but I always enjoyed talking to you over whatever. #1 Canadian. And thank you for almost making me lose my sanity of werewolf several times, as you were the one who introduced the game to the forums.
  
• Jared - I'm sorry for being harsh on you sometimes. You're like my little brother and I think you'll be all right in the end. Granted, if you suddenly were straight the world would implode on itself and humanity would cease to exist. I admire you for sticking to your character even when the rest of us were being assholes. You know where to find me if you need help.
  
• Phanta - or Phanny, or VRS, or Strawberry, or your hipster neighbor, or just SKYLER, god. There was once this time when I didn't like you at /all/ and I thought you were just a massive dick. Obviously, you're not really. You're actually a pretty good friend and one of the few that actually worried about me sometimes. You get the prize for most unforeseeble friend in a time of need. Thanks for being pretty cool. Don't stop drawing.
  
• That1guy - I regret that we have only been bros for a rather brief time, but tbh I thought you were this headcase at first that happened to be related to pheo, so it wasn't a surprise or anything. I am glad we were able to put aside our differences in Werewolf and actually become friends. And I promise you I will catch up on Homestuck and I'll go all fangirl on you. But thanks for being easily forgiving.
  
• Chimetals - Once again, kind of a brief friendship here, but I think out of all of us you do have a lot on your plate and you have every reason to vent about it. I hope you remember what I said to you that one time, because I really do believe in you and everything is gonna work out in the end. You've always been a source of assurance for me when I realize I'm not the only one going to a crazy time recently, so thank you for that.
  
• Knuckle - Another person I'm glad I got to know recently as well, you turned out to be much more of a goofball than I had thought (this is a good thing) and despite it all, you always seem to have a pretty good attitude about things. That's not to say you don't get pissed, because we all do, but you were always one to cheerfully say hi or bye to me on Skype chat or whatever. :>
  
• Tappy - Another one of my closest friends, though I feel like in recent times we've drifted :< Thanks for being a completely immovable force when it comes to being a supporting friend. I always felt like I could come to you about anything and I still do. And I always enjoyed the texts you sent me on whatever holiday it was :> You pretty much always took my side about anything, thought I was somehow sane enough to be a mod on the chat and here, and somehow you're still sticking around despite all the dirty work you do. Hyrule's most underappreciated staff award right here. Everyone should love Tappy. I am going to miss you.
  
• Fortissimo - Another person I regret not getting to know better. I always thought you were cool and just hilarious, whether it was flooding the chat with some anime character's name or whatnot.
  
• Ammonsa - Easily one of the coolest people on Hyrule, and again one of my better confidants. Thanks for being a real bro when I needed it. I always thought it was absolutely hysterical when you were a complete asshole to Jared and no one gave a shit. Not a squid given, even though you were straight up brutal. Ammonsa for Hyrule's most honest member. You're awesome, and the best Australian I know.
  
• Sayuri - When you first joined I was always confused as to why you were always calling yourself a bitch (or was that Chimetals? idk) and I was a bit intimidated. Maybe not intimidated, but cautious around you. But you're noooot a bitch and I think you're just wonderfully honest and you don't regret much. I wish I knew you better to say more, but really. You're also great.
  
• Chase - I always felt we could connect at like, a normal level, if you know what I mean? You're a funny guy and seriously I never thought you were going out of line when you went on debate mode that one time. Who cares if you're opinionated? You have an opinion, and that's more than I can say for myself.
  

So this is it, I think, although I know for a fact that I will come back here having forgotten someone and rush to say something quick. I am sorry if I did :< There were a lot more than I thought.

I don't really drink that much orange juice. I much prefer coffee. It is source of my life force. It makes me all energized.
