as a personality factor it's probabbly not going to be link is it? because link's not supposed to have much of a visable personality because he represents the player.

The post man scares me with his too short shorts. And I also think his tune is very disturbing.

On the other side, Link doesn't have to have a personality developement because you are Link. If you feel happy, Link will be happy. If you fill like stabbing the hell out of some monsters, Link'll do it. The magic and awsomeness of the Zelda games is that they really let you interact with the story through Link. Mushy but true.
