Bond is right, the problem is that the girl was raped in the first place. Despite the shows lack of...morality in the fact they allowed a 14 year old girl to be strapped to a lie detector and hammered by her mom with personal questions, it is the rapist who is truly at fault. The mother didn't help things, though, and neither did the press.
