Birthday Presents

I just ordered a present for my friend called Rory.

For the sole reason that it will piss him off.

What do you look for in birthday presents. I'm sure it's a better tactic than mine.

Typically, I pool my money with a few other people and we get the person a big present rather than several small ones. For example, we got my friend a DS two years ago, and last week we got my other friend an xbox.

I give them money, then I don't worry about it. Unless I'm buying for little children, then flashy but cheep toys works fine.

Often enough I can get away with sending a birthday card, under the pretenses that I am poor and cannot afford a gift. Its not a total lie. Realy.

that idea works well but you have to be sure that you're getting them a big present that they will love.
