lol,I remember thinking the exact same thing.there's a small ledge off to the side you can walk onto and use Midna to jump up to were the second goron spirit is.After that,you don't have to go far at all.The last few bugs are up there,but there is one that you will have to jump up to again.There is some ground going upward to the left or right depending on the console you're using.walk up that ground and you will be able to jump up to were the last bugs are.They are in whats left of the Death Mountain hot spring,but when you jump down into it,twilight rats will swarm you,so be careful.

for the wii version that i have then u can get it around the entrance to kakriko village when your a wolf still and you dont need any hidden skills they just help you on the way
