What Food is Unique/Original to Your Area?

Everyplace has some sort of food that is Unique to it's area, something that originated there.

Take for Example, where I'm from, Saint Louis.

We have Toasted Ravioli, Mozzarella sticks, and thin crust, Provel cheese pizza (Imo's style). We also have the Hill, and a large Greek Sector.

Me and some friends made St. Louis toasted ravioli in a Dutch oven last week. It was awesome. o:

Anyways, fry sauce is about it over here.

Um, we have TexMex. It's like Mexican food, but not.

We're kind of boring, now that I think about it. All we really have is wannabe Mexican food, with the occassional small real Mexican food resteraunt.

But I don't really like Mexican food anyway, so...

I live in Florida. The only restaurant I know of that's native to the state is Pineapple Willy's, and that's not even in my city.

LOL, yeah, I live right next to the Missouri River. Didn't realize we had a decent amount of people in the area.

Gonna go eat some Imo's and Rich and Charlie's Salad now.
