That's kinda the point. I think it's more intended as a fun film, then a serious horror flick.

Everyone knows that he's called "the Monster". It's a given. This is a cheap movie from JAPAN. Cut them some slack.

Guys, the movie is actually a love story. (I dunno the names of the characters but...)

The boy is dating a girl. Vampire girl gives him a gift that turns him into a vampire himself. Girl friend is pissed, she fights V girl. Girl friend dies. Girl friend's father resurrects her as a franken-thing. EVEN PLAYING FIELD, FIGHT.... BEGIN!
