I just downloaded Majora's Mask on virtual console, a game I have beaten many times mind you. Now granted the last time I seriously played it was in 04-05 but you'd figure I'd remember some of it, nope. Now I gotta dig through all my crap in my buildings storage area looking for the players guide.

I only buy Pokemon game guides so I can catch them all. I prefer them over bulbapedia so I can play my games away from my computer. So yea, player guides aren't all that cool.

Don't use a guide, the first players guide I used just so happen to be on Majora's Mask. It made the game less fun because I did, never used another guide after that.

I do however, make my own guide as I go through certain games now.

Some examples include Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life with the hybrid plants and FFX with the enemy locations and item drops. I really do get that into games.

I'm like that with Zelda. I will go back and draw all of the maps by hand and put in more details like item locations, then add small notes like how to solve the puzzles. I also make notes any time I cause the game to glitch so I dont end up doing it again.

Thats why I liked PH. You should see all the things I wrote on the map and on one part there were no notes for me to keep, so I just drew two dogs getting it on. XD
