I know. I'm saying Maybe he comes in at the end of the universe (When Karkat or Sollux dies, whoever that code was linked to), and goes back as a result of the ultimate alchemy? As in, one of their universes is already slated to end, and so when he comes in through that...

I dunno, I'll have to look into that more. I just can't help but think the ultimate alchemy is how Lord English gets into the timeline. If for none of the reasons I listed above, I still find it hard to believe anything else will come of the ultimate alchemy, if not a universe creating frog.
