New Laptop

It arrived in the post today. Big long box.

Not going to open it just now though. My room's too messy. And why should that matter, you ask?

BECAUSE I AM GOING TO MAKE A VERY BIG DEAL OUT OF THIS.

This is a new and kind of expensive laptop. It deserves the very best birth into this life.

It's a sunny day, so I'm leaving the windows open.

I'm cleaning my room, hoovering the floor, changing my bedsheets, organising my DVDs and cables I've left lying around and putting away all my clothes. And then I'm going to have a shower, wear new clothes, shave, brush my teeth and then I'll open the box.

I'm going to bask in the freshness of absolutely everything. So that the laptop isn't soiled by merely leaving the box.

I don't know what model it is, all I know is that it is mine and I will be proud of it no matter how it turns out in the world.

I'm going to get all my files renamed and ready for transfer.

I'm doing this right.

I might even leave it until tomorrow if I don't get all my picture, text and audio file names fixed before the end of the day.

uwaaa, you make me feel bad for my mistreatment of konpi (yeeeeeeees i named my computer) and by mistreatment, i mean taking it out of the box and immediately sitting on the floor with it.
