if i remember my LOTR buff friends comments, right, a lot of LOTR was done without CG. like the table scene, and anything involving hobbits, really.

*edit* watched it, and i was torn between wanting to throw up, and laughing. just, the look on the moms face when the boy told her about the toy....she looked like he had told her it was the black plague, and all his friends wanted to go slaughter a sheep with their bare hands and drink the blood. and it kept reminding me of this, especially the dark shadows and judging look all over her face. didnt find the look i wanted, but w/e
