Posted 4 Feb 2008 Cake for every one since it's my birthday I'm guessing that's not wheat-free cake. Oh well. I brought a wheat-free cupcake in celebration anyways.
Posted 5 Feb 2008 Meh. I have no care for fish & chips. On a side note, did you know that blue eyes are actually a genetic mutation? All people with blue eyes trace back to an ancestor that had a genetic mutation of blue eyes. That means brown eyed people are "normal." So what does that make a person with one brown eye and one blue eye? A half-mutant?

Posted 5 Feb 2008 My Japanese teacher plays the Phoenix Wright games! In Japanese, anyway (where it's called Gyakuten Saiban; Turnabout Trial). We were at Japan Bowl practice, and she saw my eraser (which on one side I wrote "IGI ARI" on in kanji, which is Japanese for, "Objection!"). "Ah! 'Igi ari', desu ne? (It says, 'Objection', right?')" She laughed, picking up my eraser. "Sou (Right)," I replied with a smile. "Sore wa geemu kara, Phoenix Wright desu yo. (It's from a game called Phoenix Wright)" "Ah, Gyakuten Saiban, deshou? (You mean Gyakuten Saiban?)" She gasped. Which surprised me because not a lot of people know about the series except for a few friends of mine, and I sure didn't expect her to know about it. She said that she plays the Japanese versions of the games on her pink DS (which we all know are a hit with the elderly folk), and she actually had it in her purse. Fancy that.
