Sheik: Male or female?

I've been wondering about this for a long time. In the manga, Zelda is clealy saying that she wants to pretty much change gender... take a look for yourself (The dialogue starts at the bottom of this page): <a href="http://www.zelda-infinite.com/files/manga/ocarina2/view.php?chap=3&page=12">http://www.zelda-infinite.com/files/manga/...p=3&page=12</a>

The manga and the game refers to Sheik as a man, but the SSBM trophy calls 'him' a 'she'. What could this mean?

So whaddaya think? Is Sheik a guy or a girl?

Shiek is supposed to be male, but maybe they messed up on the trophy, because I noticed the same thing..... And I like the picture!

Well, Sheik doesn't have breasts and his/her body looks very muscular.

All the people I asked at school thought Sheik was a girl. And in SSBM, she.. it... has a more girly voice. I think the same person does Sheik and Zelda.

I'm still not sure. I know some pretty flat-chested girls...

Zelda changes her Gender, not just her clothes. Or, atleast thats what I think. . .

I would think that zelda would use the triforce to change her gender, but then again.....

big spoiler for people who haven't played OOT which is unimaginable... any way...

In oot princess Zelda transforms disguises herself as shiek of the Shieka tribe or whatever it is... IN the end she reveals herself as Princess Zelda... Shiek/Zelda had helped Link through out his adventures to banish ganon... And in SSBM you can play as shiek and transform yourself to zelda....

Im still pretty convinced that sheik is female, the manga tends to be a fairly unreliable source (sometimes almost as bad as the cartoon) and im sure it's been mentioned in other places that zelda can change her eye and skin colour (anyone can change clothes, it just takes longer)

So I also think, but then, I'm not much of a manga person. I still think Shiek is a man......I think I'll write NP to make sure.....not that any of my letters have ever gotten into the magazine, or anything.....
