mods that abuse their power/become inactive tend to be removed of being mods anyway, so this isn't really necessary. Plus, with elections, the most popular members don't necessarily make the best mods.

Electing mods would be a good ideaif we ever need a new mod, but terms would mean there would be a lot of changes in who is responsible for what, which could be confusing.

This is actually pretty pointless because you don't really giver moderators a "term" because moderators do their job that they have been given there is really no need to take it away after some time... electing moderators when need sure why not but just because they won the election doesn't necessary mean they are right for the job...

Elected yes, terms no. If mods have terms, they wouldn't stay mods for long. Gingerlink wouldn't be a mod, nor GM or Zuzu, or any others. It would be total chaos. As for elections, it's a pretty good idea.
