Link and Navi are about to be sent back to their own time by Zelda.

Navi: Rawrwoof. No way are you sending us back in time.

Zelda: But I have to.

Navi: Why?

Zelda: Because you people have missed out on life. ^-^

Navi: You make me sad.

Zelda begins to play the ocarina, but Link snatches it from her hands, gives her a powerful kick in the side of the head, and runs away. Navi and Link find themselves on the shore of Tokyo Bay, staring out on the water.

Navi: Great. I was going to suggest that we get away, but I didn't think that that was such a good idea. Did you know that kicking a princess into unconsciousness is a federal offense?

Link now sees how he could have handled that situation a little more maturely, but shrugs it off. She got what was coming to her.

Navi: So where are we, anyway?

From the depths of the bay, a huge wave rises. Link and Navi stare in awe as Godzilla rises from the bay, releasing a shrieking roar. He proceeds to ignite the city with the nuclear flames from his mouth.

Message on screen: Can Link and Navi defeat Godzilla and escape this strange new world? It's time for...THE SECOND QUEST.
