mystery of link's awakening

Ok, so I was trying out a glitch in magora's mask. and i thought it would be fun to drop in on the indigo-gos manager as Mikau.

but first i talked to him as young link and he said something interesting about a single of the indigo-gos, to my suprise he said Ballad of the Wind Fish!

SPOILER

At the end of link's awakening it turns out that the island did not exist. If that was true, than Ballad of the Wind Fish(the song from the island) did not exist. The island was fake or was it?...

That is my mystery about the island.

tell me your ideas.

I've never played LA, but i'm looking for it, but didn't they also talk about the wind fish in WW too?

This isn't a theory, this is a thought.

I mean, theoretically, the lands visited in LA could have been real, as evidenced by the mermaid at the end, (Or was it Marin? I can't remember.)

PH's lands could have been real as well.

Maybe Koholint Island and Termina are in the same alternate dimension. Assuming, of course that they're both in alternate dimensions.

I would say Termina is in a realm of its own and that Kohilint is part of the same realm found in Phantom Hourglass.

Koholint could be somewhere in Termina's oceans. Its map is very similar to Hyrule's in LttP. This plays along with the whole alternate realm thing.

But you're probably right. The Ocean King's seas were a sort of dream world just like Koholint Island.

So LA is like ALttP geograpicly, and MM is like PH geograpicly, or is that backwards. Termina is not an alternate universe. PH was not a dream. LA... not sure I have not played it yet.

It was Marin, and you could only get it if you never died. And she turned into a seagull, like she wanted.

Phantom Hourglass's was real.

Also,

LINK'S AWAKENING IS CEL-SHADED/TOON STYLED.

Link's Awakening was way before cel-shading.

Cel-shading was in existence before LA, actually. >(

And Link's Awakening was extremely cel-shaded, in a similar style that Majora's Mask used cel-shading.

WHAT! Heh heh. It's not cel-shaded in the collectors edition. :)

The Collector's Edition and the original version use a form of cel-shading.

It's also known for being toon style.

But it doesn't give me headaches like WW, or anyother cel-shaded games i've played, and toon style games are WW, with or without cel-shaded, PH, FS, and FSA.

Roflroflrofl.

We were just joking.

But yeah, you said you wouldn't play FSA because of its toon style.

Which doesn't really make any sense, because it doesn't effect the gameplay at all.

But whatever...
