Do you think it is a good or bad thing

Some people say it's hellishly unreliable. But I heard that the facts are all regularly checked so... I don't know

Also, I just found this out on Wikipedia, ご飯が熱い。means 'The rice is hot' in Japanese.

Wikipedia is constantly edited by hundreds or thousands of people a day, which means that its authenticity cant be trusted as when you read about [insert topic here] you could be reading the writings of a 13 year old with no clue on the subject. Also its extremely biased in whatever is popular opinion is deemed the truth.

It's good for, like, school paper research and such, but only if you take the information you found there and look it up elsewhere to verify it. If used in this way, it can be extremely helpful, because lots about the subject is right in front of you- just remember to confirm any information.

Also, NEVER cite Wikipedia in a bibliography. TEACHERS AND THE LIKE HATE THAT. D=
