Actually, Ike doesn't flinch during Aether (though I'm sure there's some odd instance that caused you to say that). He has super armor during the attack, which means that he will gain percent damage from attacks, but he won't receive any knockback.

Although I know that you're a competent Brawler, so you probably already know this, and you probably have proof to support your opinion.

But I digress.

actually, he does... he's vulnerable after he throws his sword up and when he's coming back down. you just have to be behind him, unless you have some kind of non melee attack you can hit him with. easiest person to try this with is probably falco with his laser.

yes. he cannot flinch when he throws it up. but from the instant he leaves the ground to when he touches back down, he can flinch.
