Posted 26 Oct 2008 (edited) Wolf's Rain - Amazing. A slightly saddening ending, but awesome all the way through. Excellent soundtrack, and WOLVES. <3 I might check this one out actually. Wolves and a sad ending. Just what I was looking for. What kind of sad ending is it? I like when all the main characters die. It just rounds it off so well. I'm on the 21st episode of Death Note. I think I'm going to buy it. Edited 26 Oct 2008 by Teto (see edit history)
Posted 26 Oct 2008 I strongly recommend you to watch D. Gray-Man and Vampire Night. I heard xxxHolic is good too, but I haven't watched it. And //.hack is a manga (and anime) based in the Playstation game. Quite interesting, you should check them out

The last episode is very epic and every episode except for 4 filler episodes (which you can honestly just skip because its just a bunch of flashbacks shown before on all 4 main characters) are excellent. The soundtrack is beautiful. And now that I have Wolf's Rain on DVD, I can make Wolf's Rain AMVs. =D I also agree that Vampire Knight is an anime worth watching! ^^ Edited 27 Oct 2008 by Saria_Kokiri (see edit history)
Posted 27 Oct 2008 How can you make AMVs? I tried getting clips off of DVDs. But I don't know how. How do you do it?
Posted 27 Oct 2008 How can you make AMVs? I tried getting clips off of DVDs. But I don't know how. How do you do it? Free DVD ripping programs (found online), plus an editing program. You might also need an online converter (in case your program doesn't take the file type the episode is currently in when you download it to your computer.) Posted 27 Oct 2008 (edited) I see. How much did Wolf's Rain cost. I'm from the UK, but I can find an online money converter thing. I just hope it's got the exchange rate right. Edited 27 Oct 2008 by Teto (see edit history)

Well since I got 2 boxed sets (but I'm pretty sure they sell them separately as well), both sets cost $40 (luckily everything was 20% off.) I do know that Wolf's Rain has 7 separate volumes if you don't buy the sets. And if you haven't seen Wolf's Rain, you can always check Veoh.com. ^^
Posted 27 Oct 2008 Yeah. Or Megavideo or animeboom. I'm watching Death Note on animeboom.
Posted 27 Oct 2008 Anime night tonight. ^^ I have little to no homework, so usually when that happens, its usually an anime-watching night for me. =) I think I'll re-watch more eps of Wolf's Rain, maybe check out Spirited Away, and try to finish Code Geass R2. :
Posted 27 Oct 2008 Wolf's Rain? I've been wanting to watch that... it sounds really good... plus, it has Yoko Kanno music, right? (I like Yoko Kanno.)
Posted 28 Oct 2008 (edited) Wolf's Rain? I've been wanting to watch that... it sounds really good... plus, it has Yoko Kanno music, right? (I like Yoko Kanno.) Wolf's Rain is an awesome anime! The ending unfortunately doesn't compliment it very well, but the music is fantastic and the plotline is awesome. =D Hm, I'm pretty sure it's got Yoko Kanno music, yeah. So I sat down and watched Spirited Away yesterday. That has got to be the oddest, most delusional + illogical movie I've ever seen, and I loved every moment of it. XD Seriously, that was an excellent movie!! My new favorite Studio Ghibli film. Edited 28 Oct 2008 by Saria_Kokiri (see edit history)
Posted 28 Oct 2008 Spirited away is great. I'm on the 29th episode of Death Note now. Then I'm moving onto Wolf's Rain.
Posted 28 Oct 2008 My favorite Studio Ghibli is probably Mononoke Hime. That and Laputa....or Naussica....O_o
Posted 28 Oct 2008 The Cat Returns is my favorite. It's so short that I can watch it loads of times without getting bored. And it's good. But my second favorite is Princess Mononke. I didn't really like Nausicaa. But it was the manga that made me change my display name. The manga is much better.
