I'm going to base my answer off Resident Evil 4. I'll carry around a suitcase filled with stuff for my nourishment, a shotgun with some ammo, a handgun with ammo, and a sword or melee-type weapon...don't have infinite bullets, after all. I'd love to live next to an ammo shop and food store, as well.

If there was really a zombie apocalypse, I'd take my Double Helix Sword, hide up in a tree or something somewhere. And cry until I died.
