"At McDonald's®, we believe that African-American culture and achievement should be celebrated 365 days a year — not just during Black History Month. That's the idea behind 365Black.com. It's a place where you can learn more about education, employment, career advancement and entrepreneurship opportunities, and meet real people whose lives have been touched by McDonald's. Plus, you can also have a chance to win exciting once-in-a-lifetime opportunities. So make sure you visit often — you just might get inspired.

Like the unique African Baobab tree, which nourishes its community with its leaves and fruit, McDonald's has branched out to the African-American community nourishing it with valuable programs and opportunities."

  4. Sigh.

Christians were the big proponents in the past to separate church and state in the past because they were afraid a competing religion would come along and force its way into the schools and indoctrinate the children.

This should not be forced on kids unless they are also teaching all other religions. Other religions have just as much cultural significance and scientific evidence backing them so why would they be left out?

Furthermore, state funded education should not be sponsoring religious indoctrination.

  5. I'm guessing it's calculating how happy the average citizen feels about living in their country based on things such as the actions of their government and standard of living into consideration.

    Josh is correct! :joy:
