    ive got four of my ghost team members together, just gotta pick/breed the last two. going for ghost type has its drawbacks, since i dont have a very large pool of candidates to choose from.

     

    gonna need some help evolving my pumpkaboo, though i might just wait for anime club and t1g, i havent decided.

    Does anyone know anything about Gai-rei zero? because I watched episode one and just...

    my thought process was basically:

    "why are they playing epic battle music in ep 1"
    "why are all their agent numbers doubles like 11 33 44 77 etc?"
    "OH LOOK THEY DONT HAVE EYE GEAR HOW SPECIAL"
    "so our characters are….. generic male #1, generic female #1, funny guy #2, silent heavy gunner #7, and chipper info girl #9"
    "gee, everyone is a stereotype and i honestly couldnt give a puppy about any of them"
    "is this really not a sequel to something?"

    Anything that does AoE, though the only ones I can think of offhand are surf and muddy water (my team doesn't have a lot of AoE skills). if it hits multiple enemies/allies in 2 vs 2, it works on hordes.

    If any of you have heard of or read the manga "Parasyte" it's getting two live-action film adaptations: http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2013-11-19/hitoshi-iwaaki-parasyte-sci-fi-manga-gets-2-live-action-films-in-2014-2015

     

    This is pretty interesting. I read the manga when I was 5, but it was an enjoyable read. I hope this gets interest enough to make a studio consider an anime adaption.

    Ash was mine for a while, too. Then suddenly!Chi. Because I could never get Chimetals to fit until Y, if I remember right.

     

    Anyone got ghost-type pokemon lying around that I could get eggs of? I need to narrow down my ghost team and figure out what I already have, but I figured I'd ask anyway.

    cleared the elite four. I haven't watched the credits roll in a pokemon game since....sapphire? firered? i mean, i dont think i cleared diamond....

     

    anyway, is there a list of who is using what type? Because I was contemplating ghost, if no one took that yet.

    i know the - operator still works for the not, since i use it a lot to exclude things. never really bothered to use OR/AND/NOT etc, not the worded ones, at least. quotes tend to get mixed results for me, esp when i dont know the exaaaaaaaaaaact phrase im looking for, so im not in the habit of using them much, admittedly.

    sometimes, i hate the improvements of google being able to think for itself and try to guess what i "meant" to search. if im searching a reeeeeeeeally minor series or character etc, its a problem, but its also a problem when im trying to search things for my homework. No, google, i want RGE proteins, and RGE =/= THE, no matter how close the stupid keys are.

     

    is there a setting for this that im overlooking or something? because, like word's spellcheck failing on every bioe word ever, this crap gets old.

    there is a stone store in Lumiose. (The Paris town). They also sell Megastones.

    i could smack myself so hard right now, i need to go check on the off chance they have aggronite. because goddammit i have one pokemon in my team capable of mega evolution and I want that stone in case I want to use it. nvm its not there.

    I don't know if I mentioned it yet, but does anyone else love wondertrade? because I freaking do. I keep sending off eevees, and have gotten some really nice stuff in return. Just that warm fuzzy feeling of "hey man, I don't know what you're sending me, but here's a nice eevee." "Oh hey, you sent a kangaskahn? That's cool, thanks."

     

    I should organize my boxes, though. I've got two boxes of wondertrade stuff, roughly. The only thing I don't really like, I guess, is that you can't just jot down the OT for lotto purposes and send doubles off again or anything.

    Who all actually nicknames their Pokemon anyway? I was thinking whether to or not, but decided that I would as long as I kept it consistent.

    I forgot when i first started nicknaming them, its been so long. from sapphire, at least.

     

    And yeah, going with a running nickname theme makes things more fun, though I tend to go with a tv show or something. though mostly its been characters I liked so far.

     

    Also, if anyone can get me a freaking joltik at any point, or tell me where I can see one so I can ask on the GTC or whatever, I will love you forever. I have a team with themed names, and I'm missing one. I need that elec/bug type, and the only one that fits that is jolik.

    So I've spent the better part of the night trying to get text files to puppying show up, with the right crap in them. I haven't even gotten to the real part of the assignment, where I find patterns in this godforsaken data. I have less than 24 hours to finish this shit, and its worth 10% of my grade in a class im kainda behind in and not really doing great in.

     

    I want to code for a living, just so I can avoid people. This is already hard enough due to my major being little more than a shotgun of bullshit from other majors, and none of it in-depth unless maybe you go into biomechanics or cell & tissue track. I'm in the "computational and systems analysis" track, which no one has been able to give me a straight answer as to what the puppy I'm gonna be doing in industry with.

    At some point, I'm probably going to have to perfect the act of looking like an extrovert to get a job, or else get a job acting like an extrovert, aka handling customers who probably won't have a clue what they're actually requesting of the engineers, meaning I'd be the one caught between the customer and the engineers--"tell them I want this thing" "tell him its puppying impossible to do that"

     

    I really, really wish I could go back to tell little freshman me to switch to being a Japanese major because holy puppy this is not what I thought I would be signing up for. I honestly don't enjoy my classes, and it's basically too late to swap without costing my parents an arm and a leg in stupid tuition.

     

    And I told them that I'd be graduating in four years, but I don't have a clue how I'm going to be passing this class at this rate.

     

    The late grading for this is harsh, too. All my points get cut in half by each day that goes by. To make the 50% deadline, I would have to go 72 hours without sleep. I can't even do 48, really, which is what I'm attempting right now with some 5 hr energies.

     

    Just went and checked, and my school only has an "EALC" major. And if I wasn't so laggy in the languages, I probably could have taken that instead. Except then panic attacks over jobs and never getting hired and working at fast food my whole life but then hey, I'm panicking over that shit already .
