Guide progress: Level 1-- Tail Cave, complete, with video footage and enemy information. Also did a pretty big overhaul on the forum, and actually took the time to sort General Zelda into its subforums. I feel dumb after reading the titles of all the TP threads.
I like the one old topic in NES Zelda, wherein TML links the Zelda II Wikipedia page and gets zero replies

Which is precisely the reason we need newer members who do care about Zelda. I was illustrating above the cycle, how without new members, we can't really get new members.
The thing is, to extend your high school analogy, high school is the setting, right? Just as Hnet is the setting here. High school doesn't graduate. High school stays just the same. no new members -> no one cares about zelda, the focus of the website -> no one produces content -> there's no content to attract new people
Having new members is necessary for the growth of any community. We could benefit from that if we didn't scare them away :<
