If you're wanting to change things up a little bit with your diet, Budget Bytes is a good website for finding cheap recipes that are usually going to be healthier eating than just grabbing premade stuff at the store. I mean, there are desserts and stuff like pizza in there, but there's also a lot of good vegetable dishes and the like.
Which if I'm recommending it, that says something, considering that with my health issues I've got to be kind of careful about sugar intake.

Glad to see I've caused Pheo to have a crisis by mentioning Shrub's age.

Just so y'all know, Shrubs' birthday was yesterday.
He is officially legally allowed to have alcohol now.
Not that that has ever stopped him.

And also you have a massive crush on Big Boss/Venom Snake.
Though for everyone else I can in fact confirm that Shrubs is a crack shot.

And for my actual contribution to the thread that isn't calling my lovvie gay, I'd say Ocelot. Mainly because I do whatever the puppy I want at any given time, am obsessed with a specific genre/aesthetic (Westerns for him, fairy tales for me), love dogs, and despite that aforementioned tendency to do whatever the puppy I want I am able to completely devote myself to what is most important to me. Also I have a bit of an ego and don't shut up.
And also I am gay for Big Boss. Which doesn't make a whole lot of sense given my physical characteristics and the fact that my mental gender lines up with them, but there you go.
Runners-up include The Fear for my love of spiders and a lot of things that tend to scare the bejeebus out of people, and the amusement I gain from exploiting said bejeebus-extracting things. And Sunny because I am a major QT.
So like ideally, some kind of mashup hybrid between Ocelot, the Fear, and Sunny. Maybe throw Metal Gear Ray in there, I dunno.

And it's a problem I really, really should be aware of enough to deal with by now, but apparently I never learn.
I have this thing that happens when I play games that score you based on performance. Specifically, rhythm games (seeing as those are some of the few games I'm actually good at). I do this thing where I end up getting to the point where I score really high, close-to-perfect, and I get to thinking, "Hey, I'm pretty awesome. If I try this a couple more times, I could get a perfect score!"
    And then I try.
    And then I try again.
And then I keep trying but keep getting the same result of near-perfection, that single "SAFE" amongst the "COOL"s, or "GOOD"s or "PERFECT"s boring its way into my psyche and resonating in my mind like a thousand angry cats' claws mercilessly and chaotically decimating a poor, hapless chalkboard that's already down on its luck due to forced unemployment because the district found it more efficient to switch to SmartBoards. And honestly, it drives me kind of mad. It meshes with my hyper-competitive nature, ego, and my fear of failure in the worst kind of way, and I end up obsessively playing and replaying until I achieve the perfection that never comes. I'll reset if I get a single note or make a single misstep that breaks the combo or costs me valuable time that will affect my score. I'll play until my hands physically start seizing up in their own attempt at protesting my psychotic fixation on succeeding in this endeavor that the competitive side of my brain has decided is important. I'll still tend to needs, sure. I'll go to work, eat, sleep, clean, go out with friends and Shrubs, spend time alone with Shrubs, all that good stuff.
But the moment I have free time and no other obligations, it's back to my horrible, misguided attempt at proving to myself that I am, in fact, actually good at some types of games only to be tripped up constantly by the fact that I am a human and thus capable of screwing up. And that my repeated attempts tire me and cause me to mess up more frequently but my stubborn and competitive nature refuse to let me give up and it becomes a vicious cycle. And yet this all somehow fails to compute and I end up redoing the song so many times that my boyfriend starts to cringe when he hears me open the pause menu over our Skype call.
Honestly, it's the reason I never make progress in most of the other games I've recently purchased.
puppy you, Project Diva F 2nd.

Got a haircut today - I got bangs now. I've had the same thing going on with my hair since 4th grade and I've decided it's time for a little change even though I'm growing it out.
Warning: makeupless and also I mowed the lawn not too long before I took the pictures.
Also obviously hnet hates my pictures so i'm fooling the system and linking you all to an imgur album instead.

I decided to pick up the game, seeing as I love Metal Gear's story even though I suck at Metal Gear games. I am probably the second-worst person at them, ever.
But yeah, one of my soldiers at Mother Base is named Jumping Shark and I'm screaming.
Also D.D. is the best and I will physically fight anyone that says otherwise.

Nice to meetcha. I'm... Kind of in the same boat?? I've only been here a couple of years, but I'm like Halley's Comet in that I only very rarely make an appearance. Usually when either I realize I haven't posted on this website in forever or Shrubs (I think he said his username was Destructo or something when he first started) reminds me that I haven't posted in forever.
Also everyone cringes at themselves from 2009. Everyone was jank as puppy in that year.

Generally, I am very against pirating games except in cases of really old games on emulators and the like. The other scenario I find it acceptable is if a game has no demo and you pirate it to see if you like it and then buy the actual game. But I think I'm probably the only person that does that. : x
At the end of the day though, I always pay for games if possible. Same with anime and the like as well.
