I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I've just started watching Blue Blazes, which is a Jdrama adaptation of a manga about the college days of a bunch of people in the anime industry. Mainly a bunch of Gainax guys, including anno. This show... I don't know, it just makes me inordinately happy

Been playing a lot of Skyrim recently... as Yosuke Hanamura from Persona 4. Don't judge me.

That, and thanks to getting my little brother into iDOLM@STER, I've gotten some extra DLC funding so we've been playing through iDOLM@STER: One For All!'s new extra story routes.

Like seriously I love her new song. And you know Ritsuko in general. Like Takane might be my favorite character but Ritsuko's like an extremely close second and if I were to choose one to date it'd be Ritsuko

Only for those that have watched episode 18 and beyond of Eva:

Relevant because it uses the dub.

Funny enough though, my friends that barely even like Eva considered Asuka as the best character. Every single one... including myself. But, yeah, watch the sub. Only masochists like Necro and Zako will say the dub is superior. Zako has gone on record saying that he loves old dubs because they're terrible, so his opinion can't be trusted.

Limited computer access, mainly. I hate trying to type on a tablet or phone.

Also, assuming each of the cookies to be 1/2 inch thick and something is keeping them structurally stable... If you stacked them all on top of each other, they would stack to be 1,683,712 miles high. In other words, you could use them to create a pole and climb to Mars.

Assuming each of the cookies has 12 chocolate chips in it, that would be 7,200,000,000,000 chocolate chips. Or, 14,400,000,000 bags of chocolate chips.

Working 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, Hershey's would have to make 228,310 chips per second. Or, 456 bags per second.

Willy Wonka ain't got nothin' on this shit.

    ...

I am getting really carried away with this.

Extra: the United States sells $3,000,000,000 worth of batteries every year. Bill Gates could buy enough batteries to last him 20 years. Unfortunately, he would have nowhere to put them seeing as all his warehouses are full of cookies, and all his money would have been spent on said cookies.

Also, with a 3-inch diameter... If the cookies were all laid end-to-end, they'd stretch 28,409,090 miles. Or, the cookies would go around the Earth 1,136 times. Or, back and forth to the Moon 57 times.

    That's $60 billion for ya.

So it's been awhile since I've been here, but I felt like sharing something my dad and I worked out earlier.

For the curious, Bill Gates (fiscal worth approx. $60,000,000,000) is worth about 600,000,000,000 chocolate chip cookies. With his fiscal worth, he could buy 600,000,000,000 individual chocolate chip cookies. Approximately 1,500,000,000 chocolate chip cookies are produced in the United States each year. If Bill Gates were to purchase all of the chocolate chip cookies produced in the United States each year, it would take him 200 years to exhaust his finances on chocolate chip cookies.

Now, there is of course the matter of storing these cookies. Assume 1 case of cookies - which contains 4 boxes of cookies with 25 cookies per box, so 100 cookies total - takes up 1ft^3, and that the cookies are being put into warehouses with the dimensions of 300ft x 100ft x 10ft (L x W x H); in other words, about the size of an American football field with a 10ft ceiling for simplicity's sake. One warehouse would hold 300,000 cases, with a total of 30,000,000 cookies per warehouse. So, to store all 600,000,000,000 cookies, one would need 20,000 of these warehouses. Placed end-to-end, these warehouses would stretch 1136 2/3 miles in length. To visualize, the distance between Sandusky, OH and Miami, FL is about 1290 miles. In other words, Bill Gates' cookie warehouses are literally spanning across the eastern United States.

Just in case anyone wanted to know.
