now we need a thread that tells people to stop quoting entire posts and replying to only one tiny part of the post goddamn its the most annoying thing

I've seen lots of forum members struggle with doing this properly, so I thought I'd explain how to upload photos properly to the forums with a method that is quick, painless, and rarely has any hiccups.
 
IF THE IMAGE YOU WANT TO SHOW IS ON YOUR COMPUTER:
 
Locate your image file in whichever folder it's stored in on your computer. Be sure to remember this for later, because it's important! Maybe write it down somewhere?
  With your parent's permission, go online to http://www.imgur.com. No account creation necessary!
  At the bar on top of the home page(http://www.imgur.com), click on the "Upload Images" button(by clicking it with your left mouse button).
  Select the "browse your computer" option(by clicking it with your left mouse button).
  Navigate to the same file location you were looking for in step 1 of this guide. Did you remember it without writing it down? Good job!
  Select that file by clicking on it with the left mouse button.
NOTE: If you would like to upload multiple photos at once, repeat steps 4-6 before continuing any further!
  Click(with your left mouse button) on the "start upload" button," and wait patiently for your photo to upload.
  Right click on your newly uploaded image, and select(with your left mouse button) the "copy image location" option.
  Start a new forum thread or new forum post on www.hyrule.net/forum, after asking your parent's permission of course!
  Click on the tiny polaroid image icon in the editor bar.
  Right click (NOT LEFT!) inside the text box that appears, and select the "paste" option. This will paste your image's location from imgur.com into the image dialogue box.
  Left click (NOT RIGHT!) on the "okay" button. IF THE IMAGE YOU WANT TO SHOW IS ALREADY ON THE WEB:
 
Instead of uploading an image from your computer, copy the image location of your desired image and paste it in imgur's "enter image urls" option, then start from step 7 above.
 
And voila! Your image should appear, just like this(except it will be whatever image you uploaded, not this one):



Your image is hosted on imgur.com, and they're a very good free image hosting service, so it should stay up for a long time. You won't have to worry about things like hot linking, or the image link expiring or anything. I've had images stay on this website for years now that I uploaded to imgur for free!

So if you ever have problems with images showing up on the forums, just use imgur.com like someone who isn't an asshat so I can stop browsing and seeing all these people with shitty broken image links all the goddamn time!

.96 Gal Deco has got the Splash Wall and the Kraken for it's specials, SPLOOOOOOOSH(kaboom)-o-matic has got Squid Beakons and the Killer Wail. They both look like really pro weapons like damn expecting to see them everywhere after tonight.
 
Re-rolling means the three sub-abilities you already have on the accessory are wiped away, and it immediately gives you three new ones in it's place. Don't need to grind up for the abilities! It's super handy. Got rid of one of my cuter t-shirts having THREE Increased Running Speeds with it. Now it's actually usable \o/

 
Two new weapons being added tomorrow!!! (Probably tonight for Americans) They look neat, the Sploosh-o-matic in particular looks AMAZING. And ridiculous. And ofc Deco is always an improvement to the Gal weapons. I can't wait to try them out.

I was literally just commenting on the words "political correctness" and not the whole quote, just saying. I don't speak riddles. I mean they are cute in DnD but in discussions like this it's basically just "I'm gonna outsmart you now by speaking in a way you may not understand" like who threw this math in here?? Lol

I made it to the rank of Eternal Pop Girl. I can stop playing Splatfest now. Hallelujah I was kind of getting bored of the same three stages over and over and over again. Also had a fair bit of lag and disconnecting players at the end there. But overall it was still fun!!! 
 
Best part was when I was in a team with three other girls and we kept dominating the Rock team for about 8-10 games or so, until one of them tragically abandoned us. Then another one left too... then the last girl disconnected on me. Team Pop Bitches was a force to be reckoned with and only internal strife broke us...
 
Rock probably is going to win though. My sister chose Team Rock and the amount of times she played against other Team Rock members because the game couldn't find any Team Pop people was very telling, it's by far got the most votes lmao. Why do people have bad taste in music smh

You can call me "PC" and say i tip toe around to avoid hurting feelings, but do you really think that's my intention when i call a Police Officer a pig or a killer, etc.

Depends on the map, I was playing it with some skilled players on the skatepark and it was a grand ol time

Started playing coop Halo: CE yesterday. They've redone the graphics, so it looks really nice but lol I forgot how simple it was. You can actually toggle between the old version and the new while you play. Nostalgic, though. We've been playing on heroic and seriously had the best time, I'll flip over a vehicle on my bf accidentally and it's just insta-death. Stupid shit like that, we were crying from laughing so hard.

I forgot how short the game is? We are almost finished with it..idk, a lot of it seemed repetitive especially toward the end with the flood areas. 2001 I guess

I tend to need to be invested prior to making any kind of purchase. I've been aware of Saga for a while for instance, but since I have no idea/interest in what it's about, and the art style isn't interesting to me, I've never gone any further about looking into it.
 
There are a couple comics which I bought because I'd already read them in the past, and then some others which drew me in based on art alone. Like I've been meaning to get a Frank book ever since LL posted Visions of Frank yeeears ago. I would have bought The Frank Book today if I could have found it in stock anywhere. Unfortunately all I could find was an incomplete paperback and Fran, which is like the third book or something. So instead I went for this recommended book which caught my eye, How To Be Happy, by Eleanor Davis.

Frank's style is somewhat more compelling for the sake of surrealism, but I can appreciate some stunning colour palettes while I wait for that to get in stock. I'm gonna stare at my Paul Klee book in anticipation. I want to use colours this effectively.

We've been down this path before so im just wasting my *breath* by saying this but
 
The way the media and many people I know, personally, demonized the Black Community of Ferguson for, SPECIFICALLY destroying that CVS and the way those SAME media outlets and people are absolutely SILENT about the burning down of 8 historically black churches is very obviously a sign of complete hypocrisy and racism. I come to this conclusion, because this action/lack of action tells me that these people are either SUPER invested in that particular CVS in Ferguson, (idk maybe they are one of the probably 30 employees who worked there) or they have a double standard on property destruction. Not to mention, the obvious symbolism involved when burning down a black church vs the symbolism involved in burning down a CVS (which does invoke symbolism, as CVS' in poor areas such as that tend to have a "rule" of only hiring people who live certain distance or more away so, due to fear of theft from employees/employees' friends. That being said, it's clearly and obviously does NOT invoke the same symbolism of destroying an historically black church, or even a general church at all) Like if you're gonna get mad at some people from destroying a CVS that most likely would not hiring any of them as a way to show mourning and rebellion against a corrupt system, but you aren't gonna say a word about the people and subculture that got together and burned down EIGHT black churches RIGHT AFTER a KNOWN WHITE SUPREMACIST shot up a black church then yeah, you're a puppying racist and a bigot too!
 
It's not a matter about not caring, it's a matter of double standards. You can not care about something huge and important like this. I think youre foolish for not caring, and probably not a very *good* person, but whatever. I do think you are an AWFUL person when you feature a double standard like this.

Confirmed: Tower Control as a mode is infinitely more fun and not rage-inducing at all even if you die repeatedly/lose, unlike Splat Zones. I'm actually really enjoying it Ranked Mode has been saved. Shame it is only limited to Ranked though, and to an extent same with Splat Zones. I wish they could be played in Regular Mode. oh well

I don't care what a bigot believes. Its when they express their beliefs through actions and words that concerns me, and most people. They are the people who constantly invalidate other people's entire lives. And those life experiences are, much more often than not, taught to them through family and society. Bigots, at least the type of people I would typically call a bigot, don't experience actual persecution in their lives. They are just whinny little assholes who don't understand the difference between equity and equality.
 
Bigots are the people who judge minority communities for destroying a CVS, yet are completely silent when 8 churches are burned down by white supremacists within a weeks time. Jux saying.
 
Also bigots themselves are really gross, so a gross word is due fit to describe them.

 
I started reading this giant H.P. Lovecraft book that I bought a while ago. It's pretty cool. It's not all "Cthulhu LOL!" I mostly read it because one of the best horror writers is compared to him often. Thomas Ligotti, who I had recommended to Necropolis before, is so dope. People call it "philosophical horror". I'm not calling it that, but I think it's a useful term to describe his style and subjects.
